as for me i'm going to get 2 figures.
until biker version is released, second figure will take its place.
and if/when it happens, i will put some damage to clothes like he was several times shot and burned to fit the damaged head scene.

I'd like to see some savvy customizer take the damage head, add a clean eye and turn it into just a burnt off brows head like the garage scene.

Estimated cost of T-800 full figure = £150 inc p&p

Estimated cost of making a 2nd BD T-800 from buying separate parts = £191 inc p&p

Jacket = £18.50
Tshirt = £12
Gun gloved hands = £9
Pants = £10?
Boots= £15?
Figure stand = £6.50

Body = £75
BD arm = £15.50
Foot pegs = £6

Shotgun = £11.50
Medical set = £12

Plus you might want to buy a different set of hands so that you can have one gun hand and one fist hand. The other hand sets cost about £8 each making the total about £199 inc p&p

Now if you buy a 2nd full figure, not only is it cheaper but you can also sell the extra parts for these estimated prices:

Figure Box = £10
Standard head = £40
BD head = £40
Medical set = £12
Uzi = £12.50
.45 longslide = £13
shotgun = £11.50

Total from selling extra unneeded parts = £139

You could almost buy a 3rd Figure with that and do some more selling.

Ive built a figure from parted out ebay figs before and I can tell you that stuff doesn't cost even near that much. Most items sell for only couple dollars. The guns fo usually around ten. The othly items which ever cost anything are the head and body.
With some patience and smart shoping you can put a figure together easily for under $120.

Those prices were all from ebay :dunno

The body is what does the damage.

Im sure that some people try to sell it for that much, but overall you can get it for much less.

Well at the moment, those prices are the cheapest you can get those items for on ebay.
The only way to get them cheaper is by trying to get a deal on the bidding items.
I dont like to mess around bidding to be honest.
I do it on the odd occasion but I just havent got the patience to bid on all the necessary items to make a 2nd BD T-800.
Too much hassle for me lol

No, you can easily get most items for a lot cheaper, as Shadow says, and with very little effort. Those prices you gave might be what Toy Anxiety or an eBay BIN might charge but a huge amount of parts are listed on eBay with a starting price of 99 cents and don't end up going for much more. As many items, bar the head and body, are very light you also see a lot of people offering free worldwide postage.

The muscular body, the most important piece here, always sells for a lot though, that's the trouble. It's seems a guaranteed $75 - 100. These T-800 heads you might sell or buy for $20 - 30 on a good day, I'm guessing, but the clothing goes for just a few dollars, you'd probably be looking at no more than $30 for the lot at the moment.

I think what largely dictates the prices is what uses customisers can put the parts to, whether there's any obvious use other than what HT was selling it for, hence why muscle bodies always sell well. There's also people buying a couple of extra pieces to put together an easy second figure, as is the case with something like the T-1000, but I don't think there's a whole lot out there buying trying to put together a cheap complete figure.

For an example of some of the eBay prices I've paid, I bought the head of Watchmen Comedian for 99 cents when it first came out. About seven or so months ago I also bought everything to make a Police Joker (minus the body) for $38.

I watched the t-800 parts over a month, and up2date they never goes under 10 USD. the parts are to new.

with all the parts and with my dealer from BeNeLux I had to pay 82 € für parts, 171 € for the complete set.
its 126 € for two t-800 t1 ;) that is not very expensive in europe ;)

the parts come from china. some parts are here, some are on the way. the t-800 maybe will released in europe in march oder later.

we are often two month behind the usa :(
