Coincidentally I just bought a T1 BD custom off Addicted-to-collecting with what looks like that particular headsculpt - I wasn't sure what sculpt it was exactly but now I know. Hmmm, pity its apparently a little on the big side.

Still, love the weathering on the clothes.

I made that figure

and you will see the head sin't on the big size at all.

Ahh! Well it looks good, looking forward to getting it. I hadn't planned to get me a BD T1 till sometime in the future but when I saw this up for sale I wasn't able to resist. The blood and the messed up clothing are fantastic, he really looks like he got dragged under a truck.

At some point I thought ''.....y'know, what if HT actually don't make these things?.....'' and decided I better start buying customs or working on my own. I still need to do a semi-BD T2 version after this.

Obviously I'm still hoping HT does official ones but just in case.....

The options are the coat from the old Hot Toys MMS02 figure, a Saturday Toys copy of same or the T2 jacket with the collar lifted up. The T2 jacket is a little different but still looks very passable for the T1.

hmm need the MMS02 realy but it's hard to find, lifted T2 collar looks gay!

Really? I think it looks pretty good, thats what I've got at the moment. I bought a pre-made kitbash from another boardie using the T2 jacket, had intended to swap it for an MMS02 but when I saw it in hand I thought ''y'know what this looks pretty damn acceptable!'' And its already tailored for the modern T-800 body whereas the MMS02 is a pretty tight fit and reduces the range of motion in the arms a little more.

the jacket without underlayer looks a lot better on this massive body, as well as on glasses version.
PLUS the HT T2 jacket is absolutely another jacket. i don't know why they didn't just copy the movie version.

I like the new weathering and wounds. How did you make these latest changes? Is there movie referance for the leg/boot damage that you've done?

How did you make these latest changes?

well i like the way i invented: i put matt+gloss varnish on the body (it can be taken away if needed, together with all the blood put later on it); then i put blood paint into the wound and on clothes; then i put gloss varnish on clothes holes' edges to imitate the dried blood crust (can be well seen on the t-shirt which i will remake because of wrong size and posidion of wounds).
...plus clothes and boots (from the terminator back's side) were weathered by a whetstone to imitate a long under-truck journey

Is there movie referance for the leg/boot damage that you've done?

only a little detail can be seen in the movie, all the rest is my fantasy of what it could look like in the light.

i made:
flat/damaged left boot's toe;
torn right trouser leg;
damaged left foot's metal drive sticking out of the boot (not "right" as i typed);
torn right boot's buckle holders.

God damn, P.!!! That looks incredible bro! WHY did I have to sell my 5 MMS02 jackets? I only have 1 left and I dont know what to do with it.
If HTs dont make another leather jacket T1, theres gonna be trouble!
