Thanks a-dev! The vest is a Hot Toys Kyle Reese vest lol!
I have 5 of his future war costumes so might sell one of the vests if youre interested.
Im quite proud of the bullet wounds too. I got some Tamiya Clear red paint that looks just like blood, and dries with a glossy finish. I just added a toothpicks worth of black paint to darken it a bit.

Also, I didnt want to paint directly on the body, so I brushed some PVA glue on the areas of the body where I was going to paint blood...that way, the paint isnt permanent.
I can always peel off the layer of PVA glue to remove the blood!

Kyle Reese vest, I might use that myself actually, I like the look of it. Not like you can see it on Kyle anyway.

I do have Kyle although I'd be interested in his gasmask if you had 3 of them and were willing to sell. I'd put them on my SWAT guys as his mask is the closest I can find to what they wore in T2.

Cool idea with the PVA glue, I wish I had thought of that when I painted blood on the neck of my tanker truck T-800 custom.

Yup, if you already have a Kyle Reese figure, you might as well use it on something that gets seen.
Unfortunately, I only own 1 gasmask. The uniforms I have dont include boots or accessories like the pipe bomb and gas mask. Sorry mate.

Not to worry. They seem to be impossible to buy separately. No one parts out that figure, ever. I'll do a WTB thread for it eventually.

Oh I'd buy one. I'm just saying. Conan is my favorite Arnold film.

Can we get a tiny Alyssa Milano to put on Matrix's shoulder's?

I would like a tree to put on his shoulder instead! :lol

I would love to see a Conan too, so hopefully he is on the HT list :hi5:

And talking of muddy Dutch, here's my WIP version that I started in January but have been busy on other things lately so its been on the back burner.
I'll probably be switchin the body with my T1 Arm surgery body at a later date, and modding the hair to look like the HTs Dutch head. Im also making a nice jungle diorama to go with it -

That's looking very good so far. What were you going to use for mud?

Expected joke answer: mud. :lol

Though actually I tried to use real blood once for a custom. Forgetting that real blood doesn't stay red when it dries, it very quickly just looks like dirt.

Umm, I think I'd like to use mud instead. ;)

Even though I think the sound fx on the Robocop are gimmicky. If they make a muddy Dutch the stand has to play the yell. You know it would be cool! just this one sound fx!

Good luck with the custom Arnie's TFG.

A Conan (1982) Arnie would be great especially with a King Conan head sculpt and throne.

I only have the DX10 and the Tech Noir T1 so for me the Tech Noir T1 is the best Arnie likeness from Hot Toys thus far.

That looks sick TFG! :clap

What Sunglasses are you using?

Thanks snoop! The sunglasses are made by freaks member, Commando.

Most likely Acrylic paint, but I'm gonna add texture to it...I'm not quite sure what to use yet though...I'm thinking something like pigment powder, or plaster of Paris mixed in with paint?
Then for the wetter areas I'll add a bit of gloss on top, and for the dryer areas, I'll add some dry pigment powder?
Not quite sure yet, but I'll be doing some research and experimenting to get a realistic mud effect later on...

Real blood it is then! :lol
But yeah, it's generally not a good idea to use real blood or mud.
Mud wouldn't be too bad though if you could seal it on somehow...
I might try using it to texture the paint actually! It might just work!

Thanks Sidious! I agree completely...that would be epic!
The T1 Technoire is my favourite sculpt too, because its my favourite figure! I dont own any T2 figures, but in my opinion, I think the DX10 has most accurate sculpt.

When he has is Shades on, it's easy to see the accurate sculpt. However, I consider the PERS and his eyes part of it so it ruins it for me.

However, overall it's still a cool figure. I usually try not to let one thing ruin it for me.

Ironically, I had always wanted the original MMS T2 t800 more than the DX10 based on in hand photos, but I got a good deal on a DX10 that I couldn't pass up.
