My THOR on a Dutch body.

I had to trim a lot of the rubber on the chest and waist!
I didn't want him too look fat or too bumped up.

Damn Elvis! :horror You really outdid yourself this time! :clap And I thought your last mod on Thor was already perfect but this one betters it in every angle. The size of his arms is just right. I doubt even the upcoming Thor from Avengers would best this body.:monkey1

Thanks bro, you may want to check the dc custom section.

All my customs DC figure are in there :wink1:

Hey brother,
Thanks for the invite. I bookmarked it because your custom work is that great and fun to look at. Your Bane is breath taking as are all your other customs. I wish I had half your skills and all of your resources.

Thanks again, bro.

Here is my Thor on a Christopher Reeve Superman body. It doesn't make much difference on the arms but it definitely beefs up the thighs and height. He was 12 and 3/8 but now he is 12 and 5/8. A little closer to the 6'4" height of the actor. For anyone wanting to do this mod its not worth buying the body when all you really have to do is make longer foot pegs and wrap the muscles with something to beef them up.

very cool, how well does he pose jim?

He poses about the same. The arms don't go straight down like the original body. They are restricted by the rib cage. Also the body armor doesn't close without modifying the body. You would have to stretch it to make it fit as is and glue it in place. The hand pegs are a bit loose but can be swapped out cause the hammer is too heavy for it not to roll around.

All in all it's about the same except for the neck. CR body neck does not move where the original body has movement. That's a big one for me. I think I'll put it back on the original body and add the muscle tone and put longer foot pegs on it.

I used the HT Ross body for mine, I had to mod the body so I could get the armor to fit. I should have just switched the arms out but was too dumb to think of it at the time. I really like how he turned out, he is much more massive in his arms plus I added Soldier Story thigh pieces. I was able to find a cool pose so he will now make a nice center piece with Odin and Loki when displayed.

Yeah those thigh pieces are the way to go, put the same ones on mine...makes all the difference...couldn't stand my skinny-legged Thor!

Just opened up my Thor and he's pretty impressive to me at least. He looks a lot better in hand than I thought he would and I'm happy to say so since I won't be getting an Avengers Thor. The only mod I will be doing is the helmet mod. I don't think he looks all that skinny. maybe after the initial "wow" goes down i'll feel different, but for now, I'm not tampering with the body

has anybody tried putting thor on the newer muscle bodies like the one royce and wolverine came with? i know it wont look like elvis' mod but just curious.

i know we've seen tons of pics of this guy, but just thought I'd share mine too before he goes back into is cardboard prison for the ride home
