hi friends, im in doubt about to buy or not HT thor figure, someone thinks that HT will re-release this figure (or 2.0 version) into avengers line?

I would wait. People will be selling this one to get the Avengers Thor and you might be able to pick it up cheap.

I'm sorry but the headsculpt is flat and the paint aps possibly HT weakest in a long long time. The hair is absoulutely awful! It kept me from buying this but hoping Avengers version far far better.

I think this figure looks awesome, but I do agree the hair is not very impressive, and the armor prevents his arms from bending for the most part. Another problem, at least with my figure, is the hammer is super heavy, he can barely lift it. Mine also has some loose slots where the wrist pegs go into the hands, so I keep thinking he's just going to drop mjolnir.

Other than that, it's a cool figure for display. It would've been a nice bonus had they added a 2nd head for a 'civilian thor' version where he tries to lift the hammer.

Great pose! Love what you did on the cape.. Btw did you mod your cape? it looks the shoulder area has more shape on it and looks elevated just like in the movie

I just folded the edges of the cape to the back, then placed red paperclips to make the top part of the cape sit more tightly on the plastic shell the imperfection on that part of the cape bothered me

I think the elevated look is a combination of the wind blowing on the cape and the fact that I lodged the cape pegs really deep into the shoulder "blades"


To the others, yeah the flat hair is a disappointment especially when comparing him to movie stills, but still not as bad as TFA Cap in likeness

Trying to take a good picture with the crap cape and awkwardly placed helm (no mod) is a test of patience. Also, mine seems to have a very limp/weak ankles. Can barely stand by itself, haha. Here to Thor!

Yeah, the ankles are weak on mine too...

Here's mine, I repainted the mail shirt with Citadel Mithril Silver paint, did the helmet mod, and gave him muscle thighs.
