Who are you with and what rotation are they on now? I went to OEF1 with 7th group out of Bragg, OIF1 with the 82nd and OIF3 with 10th group out of Carson.

Looking for advice:

I received my Cap shortly before Christmas and haven't had a chance to work with him until recently. His pants won't stay snapped, and the zipper pull on the shirt came off. Is this enough to warrant an exchange with Sideshow?

I too had the same problems of faulty zipper and broken snap on pants. Sideshow is sending me a new body with outfit only, so I get to keep the head which is great because my A is perfectly aligned. I have to smash up the old body with a hammer and send them pics as evidence. The email was kind of funny. They recommended I wear shoes and eye protection while doing the smashing so as not to injure myself.:slap Lawyers phshh. I recommend you fill out a returns form asap.

Do you guys know how to swap the original foot pegs to the longer ones? I pulled off the boots and found that the peg is stuck with the foot that is covered by the boots...i couldn't get my fingers in there to pull it out

Use tweezers to get the pegs out of the boots. Everyone in this hobby should have tweezers :lecture

My cap seems to still be standing pretty well in his running pose so I think you'll be alright. But just like always in this hobby, be careful.

I'm in the National Guard. 648th MEB. Sounds like you're the man with all those deployments.

I prefer to use hemostats, they lock in place and are great for tough jobs, like pulling a sleeve of a dress shirt through a suit jacket or the buckles on military gear, I have the worst time with intricate things like that and these help. I used them to pull the pegs out of Cap's book with ease.
