Ok SSC said they will replace the head but the A will still be off center but the paint wear will be fixed...but they want me to take a black marker to the face of the other Capt and send them pics of it!! Seems like such a waste...

This is the first picture I have seen of the new costume that I actually like. It gives me hope that the next hot toy Capt. America could be better than the original release. It's funny, I have never considered myself to be a big Capt. America fan in fact I hated the first movie when I first saw it (it has since grown on me) but I still will likely end up owning both of hot toy versions when it's all said and done.

I'm curious what they will do with the next capt. Americas height. you can see in this photo he is easily the same height as Thor but the HT Capt. America I own now is laughably shorter. I put the pegs in that give him more height but it makes his legs look to long for his body so I took them out. I hope they make the next one taller, and if I choose to pose them next to each other I can just put the pegs back in.

Well just got my Cap from AE, and not very happy. First off the shoulder pads have the worst stiching and tailoring I have ever seen on a HT fig. Unsewn/crooked edges, loose threads everywhere.
Chest star is straight, not sure of the A on the helmet though. It seems a little off center, but I can live with it if that was the only issue.
I guess I'll have to contact AE about a replacement.

AE just shipped mine today. It's due on the 17th. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a problem free figure

I received Cap today from AE and everything is fine.
Cap is definitely on of my favorite characters. I cannot wait for Red Skull. (I wish Dum Dum and Bucky was forthcoming.)So...Cap is one of my first HT purchases from SS, and I was one of the unlucky ones to have a crooked A and an extremely bad placement job for one of the shoulder pads...basically the back design was on the shoulder and visible from the front. Poor Cap looked like a hunchback on one side. 
SS told me they would only send a body replacement and no head replacement with the same reasons that other people got. I decided to go for it and hope that I didn't get a crooked star in the replacement body.
My replacement arrived today and considering the bad luck I've been having/Friday 13th, I opened it with dread. To my extreme shock, I received a near perfect body AND a head!
The star design is ever so slightly crooked, but compared to what I had before this is perfection!
SS told me they would only send a body replacement and no head replacement with the same reasons that other people got. I decided to go for it and hope that I didn't get a crooked star in the replacement body.

Got my Cap from my local dealer who has an account with Sideshow. No issues with mine. A on helmet is perfect, shield is clean, etc..
Question: Has anyone changed the body to get more articulation?
