Agreed, it's too good of a line to pass up on....I can see them only doing Jake Sully from Avatar (which is a shame because Neytiri and Quatrich deserve figures too) but the Sucker Punch girls are easy to make!

Really? I'd say Neytiri would be a definite. But who knows? They never did do Rorschach from Watchmen.

I'd say she was too if this was last year...Jake Sully keeps getting pushed back unfortunately and Neytiri keeps looking bleaker and bleaker

Hot Toys needs to remember that their customers buy licenses beyond/instead of Batman, Iron Man etc..

Considering that customers want Elias, it's Hot Toys own fault they are not making money from the license

Same with Sucker Punch, people have stated they'll buy if HT makes them, same with MGS, Smooth Criminal and others.

Customers with money are there but HT is not collecting the money from them

Well, being a fan of Pirates and Jack Sparrow..I want a lot But I get what you're saying, Sucker Punch needs a good milking!

As far as new characters go, unless HT start up the licenses in my sig or do characters from underdevloped licenses then 90% of figures will be of characters already done.

TDKR - Bane & Catwoman will be the only new ones likely
Avengers - Fury, Hawkeye and maybe Hulk will be the only new ones
Robocop - Cain is the only new one.
Predator - no new ones likely

So most figures will be of character people already have on their shelves, just in (slightly) different versions.

To be fair I don't think HT would be where they are today if they weren't good at reading what their collectors 'actually' want to invest in. We tend to live in a warped microcosm on these forums feeding each other’s (often misguided) beliefs. Just because 10's or even 100's of folks say they want a figure does not mean they will seriously follow through and complete on a pre-order. If the Platoon, Watchmen or Sucker Punch figures had sold in the numbers needed to warrant follow ups you can guarantee we would have them. But they simply didn't! And no sane business invests in loss making venture. Simples!
