I just recieved another shipping notification with Dungeons and Dragons game on it.. lol They screwed up like I figured. I called them and they confirmed..so I am going to not accept the package.. but I did request that when it does come in to stock I get one at the price I ordered it at...she told me to hang on to my original order confirmation.

Same thing happened to me and a buddy of mine. We both called. Acording to GH we never ordered Black Spiderman. I told her my account clearly shows thats what i ordered but her system had the same order number but with the D&D thing. So there system has no record of me ever ordering Spiderman.
I had them send me the return PDF casue D&D is going back same day it comes in.
GH clearly made a mistake on this and instead of saying sorry we messed up they toss D&D at us and played dumb. I didn't expect to get this at that great price but i also didnt expect to get lied to.

Wow, here I thought I was alone in having to give this the 'heave-ho' for the time being. I really like it, but, as many have stated, there's simply too much interesting stuff to pick and choose from right now. It's a very nice piece, but when you compare it to something like 89 Joker, it's a no brainer! I have it in the back of my head that I'd like to go back later and get this, but who knows?

THIS is what I had foreseen months ago when Hot Toys started cranking up both the number of releases and their price point. People are going to HAVE to get picky out of necessity and it will drive completists crazy. They are in danger of oversaturating the market and undercutting the demand for their product - I wouldn't be surprised to hear a big "pop" within the collecting community in the next year or two...

Decided I have to cancel this. Finances just aren't going to allow it.

I know the feeling. I placed this order when it was first announced. Then I received an email 2 weeks ago that I couldn't apply my points and the free shipping so they were giving me back my points. Last week I received notice that my Hot Toys 89 Joker would be shipping soon. The main reason I was getting this Spider-man was for the Peter Parker head. I can't afford to get both the Joker and this at the same time. Last week I cancelled black suit Spidey and I'm hoping to pick up the Parker head parted out down the line.

Sorry guys. Hopefully, since things don't sell out anymore, these will be available long enough so that you may be able to get them still.

I'm going to be a cheap bastard and wait for the price to come down before I snag one.

Looks fantastic. If only there was a way to ditch the Sandman and have the price point just reflect the figure and the knew Peter Parker head. I really don't even need the webbing. I would be perfectly content with just the figure, headsculpt and some hands.

I should wait because I know the price will be lower with patience. Beyond 89 Joker and Bespin Luke, I have nothing coming in the foreseeable future.

You should have gotten order confirmation emails though that show Spiderman 3..I definately did and I am keeping them..they cannot contest an email sent directly from them. The woman I got on the phone did apologize and said they were trying to fix the website..i still insisted that when it did become available I wanted it at the price I ordered it for..she told me to hang onto my conf emails and call back once it did.

I haven't bought anything new in many, many mos. I hope SS has extras in the first shipment, I am itching to pull the trigger.

The more I see that sculpt the more I like it and the more I want to mod a red&blue for it to fit on. Dang fine job by HT.

I canceled my black suit spidey order when I read about enterbay's terminator releases coming. The 89 batman/joker are going to be my only 1/6 figures, and only because I want to display them them with the batmobile.

I spoke with sideshow yesterday about my flex pay and They said it due to be in the warehouse the last week of April. And Will probably ship the first week in May

I preordered from SS day 1. I got an email last week sometime stating they were gonna charge my card on the 18th. Since it is not flexpay, it is supposed to ship shortly after I believe.

Hmmm I wonder if it has anything to do with me ordering the standard version w/o the spike hand sculpt. IRC wasnt that pulled shortly after the preorders?
