How much does this figure go on the market lately? Is it too late to get one for investment?

Your return on your investment on a toy is not good. Buy the time you pay to get it, hold onto it, sell it(fee's). Let's not forget what you make a hour. You will be under. Unless a item is number. And even then it's a hit am miss.

Buy Gold or Silver, your investment will go up. In the same years you try to make money off a toy. You will make more and with one phone call.

i honestly don't see it go for the same insane prices as the first Mark I went but you never know ...

Thanks.

Well, I always set aside some money per month for hobby, so if it can be in the form of a figure I'm least interested in, by the time I need to buy one that I do want, I can sell that figure at (hopefully) higher price. So it's not exactly an investment. And yeah, I do set aside some money each month to buy gold and futures.

Lots of people invest in Lego, ROI can be quite high.

just need to be smart about it, however Re-Releases always damage your chances.

While this guy is still available at most retailers his price will not change much, its as soon as retailers have none of them left and they become harder and harder to pick up, thats when prices go up.

No joking there. I still have five left that I hold onto as something to remember how I paid the rent for a year on. I got 275 copies of the 1st print of the Killing Joker. Sold 270 of them for way more then I paid. Sold most for $50 to $75 each. Then the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and I think I even seen a 5th print cover. They now can be had for what I paid for them $1.50 each.

I also still have and sell from time to time the 1st Kiss Comic in with Blood. Paid .75 back new. I bought 50 of them. Could not sell any at the time. Hay I was (still am to a point a kiss fan Old School only). Sold one the other day for $100.

Yes you can make money, but unless you can buy like a wholesale (Like I was with comics) your not going to make much.

My background is mostly comics. I never lost any money. These on the other hand I know only so much. But still without a issue number this kind of stuff is a hard sell. Hot Toys is known for putting out another issue, run, print or whatever you want to call it. Remember Loki? I still feel Hawkeye is going to show up again in numbers.

With all I said, if you have the money to hold onto. An you can take a lost. Then by all means buy them. But don't buy them at retail you will have a very hard time making anything other then what you can buy off the $1.00 meal from McD (do they even still have those?)

I have seen that, I bought a Mark 5 I don't know 3/5 months ago. I know I paid a little under retail. Now its $260 from the seller. They don't seem to be moving them.

What the hell, buy it. Put in away and let's take this up in a year. Has me wondering what the out come would be.

Just got this guy in the mail today. Still can't believe that after wanting this guy for nearly 3 years he is finally here.

Now my Iron man collection is complete!

Well Sideshow chose my little brother as one of the Holiday wish list give aways and sent him the MK I exclusive version.

The best part was that I was in Florida visiting the family when it arrived and I got to see his face when he opened it. This is his first 1/6 figure and he was blown away. I couldn't be happier.

Congrats to him. I bet it made his X-Mas all the merrier! :hi5:

Got around to picking this up the other day. And I'm blown away by this figure. The amount of detail that they put into this thing is amazing and the lit up arc light just sends it over the top.

And that damm Jack Sparrow had to ruin this shot

So for those who have both versions, could you please give me your opinions or summary on the differences? Besides the texture of the armor, different backpacks, different paint app.
