The movie one does look better, but even it looks like a manpurse. I am definitely gonna remove that as soon as I get this guy.

I imagine the man purse strap would look better if it went under the armor instead of over it; should be doable, since the armor' still removable.

Hot Toys should know by now there's more to his armor and weapon color than just brown, brown and brown.

I have to admit, it appears the armor and weapons isn't as single-colored as I feared. In these parted-out ebay shots, you can see some nice variety of gold accents and copper greens. Disc is still pretty bland, though.

I really like how the cannon looks in this pic. Maybe the cannon pole can be positioned so it will look decent after all

Doing it that way hides the stupid pole, but then his shriveled little plasma caster sits parked right under is chinny chin chin. If it were mounted like NECA's...

In the first photo, it should be spun around pointing downward when on the back.

Good point, i really want to see some more pics, hopefully there is a way to make the cannon look decent. If not it will be easy to mod tho or pose in the lowered position where it cant be seen i'll have to have it in person to decide.

Per OMG, it'll look like this if you park the brown pole like the eBay parted-out photos show. Which would be ok, if it weren't so undersized and underpainted:

What is this amazing open-mouthed head and why was it never released? It can't be a prototype for the battle-damaged original release, because the official prototype photos of that figure never looked anywhere near that good

Yup, nevermind. Just located the source and it was indeed photoshopped. Probably someone back in 2007 trying to point out Hot Toys inaccuracies

At least we get that. But I like this figure. And most likely Hot Toys will continue re-doing there older peaces.
