So much so I have considered getting Scar right now and buying Celtic's mask and arm mounted net launcher later just so I can start work sooner. This time not going for a movie accurate repaint, going to totally remake him into something else.

Looks pretty awesome dedguy!

I finally was able to sit down and mess around with this figure. I really like it. The head does pop off pretty easily but nothing else is loose on it other than one set of mandibles. If anything it has some of the tightest joints of any figure I own. I definitely like him better than the predators classic figure I picked up.

Looking forward to a P1 re-do. It is my favorite pred and movie by far but I really like the city hunter design. Very glad I picked this figure up.

… this goes way back to the Spawn forum days… but I kinda find a lot of Predator fans to be a bit… vocally obsessive is maybe a nice way of putting it.

it's not perfect ,I can see that, but neither is, neca predators, sideshow predator staues, or even the steve wang$2000 statue. i'm very happy having the new 2.0 ht city hunter in my collection.

Man some of the Sideshow statues have approached travesty and I'm not even an accuracy nut. They just look like trainwrecks to me. The mask on the most recent P2 statue looks a mess.

I'm also very much an overall appearance person over accuracy. The original P2 figure just doesn't look good overall to me. The body proportions are really out of wack, the various pieces of armor are disproportionate as well, the texture on the mask accuracy aside is just gross looking.

The new P2 may have accuracy issues (as did the old) but as a stand alone thing, it just looks nice.

Does anyone know if there's a tube on the left side of the mask? I know there's two tubes on the right side and on tayler's mask there appears to be a place for a third tube on the left side but I'm having no luck seeing anything there in screencaps or even scanning through the movie myself.

The armor is pretty easy to remove. I don't have a tutorial but the hardest part is probably the chest and waist armor. The chest armor you need to untie the ties on the side to get it off and the waist armor is glued together at the back and is really hard to pull apart and even harder to put back on once you do since it's so tight. The gauntlet on the left arm doesn't appear to come off, at least I was unable to get it off.

I don't think there's third tube on the left side of the mask. And for the right side, I guess it only had 1 tube as from what I obeserved from the movie, Danny Glover only unplug one tube from the mask.

There's two for sure. Glover is only shown unplugging one but you can clearly see two here:

Another thing I noticed in looking through the movie is that the film costume cheats the size of the disc. Because of that the HT figure has to cheat it a bit smaller and also make both pieces of leg armor a bit bigger so that you can actually attach a reasonably sized disc to the armor.

You can see how much smaller and additionally not actually round the disc that he actually wears on the costume is. The one's he holds are on the left, the ones that go on the costume are over on the right. They're the small malformed looking ones.
