10 things i love about Thor version 2 (a quick look)

1. shiny, chain Maily, muscle-y arm! Hot Toys got it right this time
2. better headsculpt, much, much better paint app
3. body armor has better fit
4. cape came already attached
5. hammer still metal, nice paint detail on the handle
6. ankles are tighter
7. cape is shorter,
8. new armor design is well captured and better detailed (layered plates of armor is more obvious)
9. microscopic asgardian text printed on the 6 armor disc. wow!
10. majestic and imposing presence due to much more heroic proportions.

version 1 is still awesome and full of cool but version 2 is just tremendous!

Are the pants still flimsy thin like the 1st Thor?

I don't think the cape on new Thor is shorter, I just think new Thor is actually taller and more in scale

I liked the size comparison to the original Thor...the Avengers Thor looks way more powerful

I too, enjoyed the comparison in your video. This new Thor is so much better. In fact, when you placed the helmet on the old Thor, he kinda reminded me of comparing the Avengers Thor to the Thor from the 80's Hulk movie.

It SOOO blows away the first one. And it also show how much progress HT is making is head sculpt designs. Look at the pic where you can see both Thor head sculpts up close. The detail on the avengers Thor is SAWEET in comparison.

If anyone has this in-hand, can they comment on the arms? I've read about people complaining that the arms don't entirely fill up the chainmail armor, so when they're bent they'll look 'deflated'. How noticeable is this when you start getting Thor to raise his arms a lot and such?

I am still on the fence on getting this one right now unless Hot Toys at least make some news about the 1/4 version which I think is dead. A friend of mine saw some vendors at Frank and Son already have it in stock and its pretty tempting O_O
