They revised the sculpt on the first proto Thor
AND included a new accessory

im not saying it would definitely happen again
but im not terribly worried this new Thor wont see changes

Does anyone have any pictures of the first version prototype? Would be interesting to see some of the comparisons of prototypes to released if anyone has any please share!

I concede I have much less a problem with the dodgy sculpt in that video as I do staring at the proto pics. I probably will pick this figure up when it's up for general release, Captain America is still the only one I'll be picking up from HK to get early though

Im really happy to see they seem to be adjusting the height on these now! Thor is 32cm, Cap is 31 thats more accurate than to have them all the flipping same height

After seeing the movie, I'm more disappointed that there isn't a sleeveless version. The armor isn't removable on the first one, so I'd expect it won't be on the new one.

My V1 Thor is the same height a Superman. Captain America is noticeably shorter than the Thor figure, especially if you don't use the tall foot pegs

I think the proportions of his head to his arms are quite ridiculous too.

The shirt was a separate piece with the first release, Im sure it will be the same with this one.

If its anything like the first, Ill just remove the shirt.

Well this Thor is 2cm taller than the first version, meaning 0.79 inches difference. PREORDERED! Im excited about this figure, a few changes to the face and its perfect!

Seeing the film there are variations to the chest armor from sleeveless to sleeved, I would imagine there'd be another Thor eventually from this.

Looks much better in that video than in the pics. I'm with dominishin on the proportions. They still look odd to me. Like the shoulders are too wide or something.

Hot Toys -Avengers - Thor - 1/6 scale figure

I like the bulked-up body and the pants look better tailored and fitted.
The hair isn't "detachable" like the first figure, is it? It looks like it's executed them same as the first one (the seam's pretty easy to spot)....but that would be odd with no helmet this time around, wouldn't it?

The proto's sculpt is well-done and well painted/detailed, but I'm not seeing Hemsworth in there, except at a distance.

I've got the first one (and like it a lot) but I'll have to think about this one a bit...at these prices, can't afford to get the whole team so...we'll see.

I think it cut of the costume around the arms / chest. I noticed the proportions looked odd as well.

I think the cape is attached to part of the chest plate vest, and that attaches to the other part of his vest that you can see in the other photo. Just speculation mind

Edit: I just noticed the gauntlets are different too.
