What's with the sleeve thingy on the first pic.

The headsculpt looks so much better!

In another pic not attached, it seems like his neck is way too long. I wonder if there are anymore update on this fig.

I may want to pick this up.

Isn't that one of the shock inducing SDCC photos that started the whole sleeve worry to begin with? Along with this one...

I personally think that this will be OK in-hand. The figure's sleeves will be addressed and the final touch will come from futzing with them when posing. I refer my fellow freaks to the '89 Caped Crusader's Cape Caper.

The pictures since this seem to show that the shirt just probably wasn't fastened in the back as DGTWoodWard pointed out when people were screaming and me being one of them. I would say he is correct and I think it will look great upon release.

Well Market wise, HT doesn't do 100% accurate on their release, they reserve it for re-issues or for sequels :) Like Thor 2 is on the way :D

I think the likeness looks fine. A matter of tastes I suppose. My issues are more with the figure's outfit. I just hope we can pose him without the sleeves, etc, becoming an issue. But as someone has pointed out, the past pics may just be a displaying error.

This might have already been answered but can you remove the sleeves to get this look?

I have seen pictures of the 1st Thor figure with the sleeves removed and I was not sure if it was a custom or not.

You can't. And those were custom sleeveless Thors

There's no reason that the sleeves won't be removable, if it's anything like the first figure they will be a shirt that has armoured sleeves on it underneath the chest armour.

The only way i can see that the sleeves won't be removable is if the shirt they are apart of is stitched around the figure or if the sleeves are glued onto the figures arms, and honestly both of those ideas would be pretty stupid things for Hot Toys to do.

If the armor is non-removable like the first version of Thor, then the shirt/sleeve isn't going anywhere. I do hope the armor is removable this time. I had to cut open the armor to mod my Thor.

I would think HT would've shown him sleeveless if they could (like Bane). It would be another selling point. This makes me think that the armor being non-removable is a closer possibility.

Ahh, i don't own the original so i was just assuming that the armour was removable, I didn't know that was sealed.
