Well he was due in december along with Batman and this got pushed back to Feb while Bats got brought forward to now.

Oh well, I guess the DVD release in November will help ease the wait.

I have the 3D Bluray on PO, my love of plastic tat has diminished somewhat after years of now (always) worthless tat I have amassed over the years.

This is the version i've been looking for and have not seen it anywhere, which is really awkward because US Blu-ray DVD's won't play on the PS3.

I watched this movie again on a plane ride today, I definitely can't wait for this I thought the movie was awesome.

It may not have been as big a movie as TDKR, but The Amazing Spider-man was the highlight of my Summer. Great film.
And I agree with you killerCam, I can't wait for this guy either.

same here, Spidey was definitely my high point of this year of absolutely amazing (no pun intended) films. I really cannot wait to have this guy along with the avengers, he would (I assume) look really great displayed with the others

Why?
I thought there was a great story told in Spider-man (both love & fiction) which I really bought into. Avengers on the other hand was filled with special effects and didn't really interest me in the way Spider-man did.
Plus it helps when Spider-man is my favorite character and I never really had any interest in some of the Avengers, even though, I am starting to explore the Marvel Universe (comic book wise) and I am developing a bit of interest in some. (Nice name by the way)
Bottom line, I prefer Spider-man over any other character 7 days of the week.
