Are these pics touched up a bit? The production pics of the original ASM suit looked pretty lame in comparison, even though the original ASM suit looked really cool in the actual film.

Whilst the 'classic design' style of this suit is always (of course) going to be a winner, because let's face it...this is how Spiderman should always look when at his best, am I the only one that thinks that it is a little too shiny?

I don't know if it is deliberate and it will somehow help the look in the final film, but it just seems a fraction too glossy to me. Other than that I am still picking up an ASM version and will get an ASM-II on FLEX if I can work the finances.

Depending on the kind of Lycra or spandex they used its still going to be shiny for the most part. The material has a natural sheen after it goes through the coloring process. It may be something that they added intentionally to be more shiny or they may end up touching it up in post to be less shiny.
