Based on those 3 pics, I think this HT suit is pretty spot on. The Medicom suit has several differences.

Too shiny
Blue is looks too dark ( could be the shiny issue or lighting )
The black webbing is too dark and pronounced

Now thats just the suit. I like the HT overall better. I'm sure there are some things that others can point out or feel they like better about the medicom, but thats where personal taste comes in.

Medi wins.

^Trying to justify to himself that it's a bad figure by posting how much he hates it... Over and over and over again.

I for one think the figure turned out great. (Proto sculpt was a bit better) Suit, mask, head, body everything. Really looks like a person in a suit to me.

Of course I wanted the HT's eyes to be like Medi's, but it actually doesn't bother me as much as it used to. I think the (somewhat) reflective surface on the HT, might not reflect as nicely as the Medi, but I think it does help dull the yellowness of the eyes, from what I remember seeing earlier on the proto. The way HT did it still looks pretty good.

Edit: The Medi looks like it might tower over the HT :lol

Just saw this from Toysdaily, take a look:

He is more like a kid to me instead of a teenager...well that just my opinion.

The truth is they are both great figures. But there are differences between the two that will be the deciders for each individual to pick from...according to their personal taste. Neither choice is wrong in absolute terms because different people will see a slightly different appeal in their chosen figure, so everyone's personal collection is going to be different from anyone else's.

I personally would love both of them, but I don't have the funds or space for both at the moment. When my job situation becomes a bit more settled, then maybe. So I am having to pick just one.

I am going for the HT version. But that does not make the Medi any less a desirable figure. Actually now I have seen them directly side-by-side, I am seeing only the pluses in both and the negatives I used to see quite easily, seem so much less important.

I think the only thing the Medi has going for it is the lenses! But that's not to say that the HT lenses are horrible, I am actually quite liking them now.

The only disappointment for me with this figure is the Head Sculpt! I would rather they have made the figure slightly cheaper and not included it. I still can't work out how it went so horribly wrong from the proto which was more or less spot on.

Yup. I think I'm still in for this one.

The Garfield sculpt still doesn't look very good to me here, but the rest of the figure does look good.

Now, just a bit more waiting...:impatient:

That video has sold it for me! That looks like Andrew Garfield.

that's the part I can't stand the most, where's the biceps?

I really hope HT can make a 2.0 spidy, otherwise I will have to go for Medi.

I like this fiure overall. I do feel the HS is somewhat lacking. What bothers me most is the battle damage on Garfield's face. Takes away from the sculpt if you ask me. The rest of his suit is perfectly fine. Had his entire outfit been battle worn it would of made sense.

Oh well. I'm glad I'm getting it! I wasn't planning on displaying him as Spidey unmasked anyway.

Hope my final Flex of 11/05 doesn't get pushed back at SS.
