It actually is very very nice. I was admiring the suit again today, it's almost perfect.
Yea can't wait for the state side release so I can get to see him in person!

LOL, I shouldn't feed the bears by responding but that was pretty good.
I agree, the head is on the big side but my angle didn't help.
Okay,
I mentioned a possible fix to this a few days ago.
Rory told me it couldn't work but I really think it could.
Basically, it's a ratchet mechanism to lift/lower the arm forward and backward.
Now, it's VERY tight, so it puts a lot of stress on the plastic part that breaks. So I think the solution would obviously be to put less stress on this plastic part.
In another thread, Gipetto said that tight shoulder joints was typical of slim TTs. I don't have many so didn't remember that.
So what I did was go back to my stash to unearth a slim and found one (a first issue, apparently more solid), and yes, the ratchet mechanism is indeed very tight!
So what I did was take a screwdriver and loosen the two screws that hold the shoulder blade in the back and, miracle! It works really great. The ratchet mechanism still works but the movement is much more fluid and the arm works without putting too much pressure on the part that breaks (see Rory's pics a few pages back)
Now bear in mind that I haven't tried on ASM but I'm convinced it works. The only tricky part is unstitching the costume under the arm on about a centimeter (maybe less) to access the screws then restitch it.
I've ordered a loose ASM body off eBay to try it.
I'm not saying it will be 100% breakage free after that! but it should considerably reduce the risks.
Good idea.... though I suspect one can access the screws from the neck hole instead

Everytime I feel like I'm about to cancel this, I see nice pics like this to convince me otherwise.
Screw it...I'm keeping my PO.
Nice pics man.

Yes, it's really a shame there's the shoulder issue because this figure looks really great!

There is no neck hole! why are people who don't even have the figure discussing the technical aspects of how to fix it?Good idea.... though I suspect one can access the screws from the neck hole instead..
reaching just one screw would suffice, I'd say...
Coming from the guy that hands out the insults and abuse. You need social skills.
I'm with you. I had thought about selling mine straight on but I'm keeping him now.
