Ok, mine has arrived. I checked the instructions before revving the figure, and I've got the note about raising the arms. Should I even mess with it? I'm worried I got one from the bad batch.

Ummmm I got mine how in the world did you get the cheerleading pose please help! As well as the webslinging away from hulk pose cause my suit feels stiff!

Just raise the arm one click at a time,
and turn the sleeve simultaneously to prevent it from bunching up at the joint.
The bunching up is what's preventing you from rasing the arm up further.

Just always remember to reinforce the shoulder joint with your other hand to prevent damages when twisting it.
Also don't force it if the joint itself is stiff. You might have a defective joint if that's the case.
You'll only break the shoulder if you force a defective joint.

Hope that helped. :wave

Sideshow is shipping. I'm in Florida and got mine today, they shipped it on the 20. I love the figure and I currently have him posed with the Garfield sculpt. I actually really like the look. I think I wanna pick up a 1/6 backpack to add. Suit is gorgeous. I had the shoulder warning included in my box.

I'd say go for it, since I read that Sideshow replaces figures, but then again I'm not the one who spent all that money... yet.

This figure is very tempting, even though there are a few things I don't like about it.

Hmm..so people are getting theirs from SS with the Shoulder warning paper attached, I thought the ones from SS are the new improved shoulder design.

Did HT lie? :dunno

Sideshow just started shipping these out yesterday so only time will tell, I'm under the impression they are sending out the new improved versions, but as soon as someone gets theres from them hopefully they will chime in. Mine has been shipped but I won't receive it till next week:impatient:

I got mine Christmas Eve from Sideshow. I had one of those warning sheets despite it being SSC and yes I was surprised by that.
No problems so far but it worries me.

I didn't realize they have been sending these out before yesterday cause I ordered day one and received email they were charging and shipping dec 30th, were you on flex pay, maybe that's why?

Hi all, I've been following this thread for quite a while now. I'm not sure where you all get your news from, but I consider myself one of the first people to preorder this figure when it was first announced to order in HK (Toy Hunter). So I would consider myself the 1st batch. As soon as the figure was released, I picked mine up instantly. It came with the extra 'instructions sheet' and I did twist/bend all sorts of movements to the shoulders and (touch wood) everything seems to be fine. Although the left arm felt much stiffer than the right, as long as I held the chest and twist the arm slowly, everything seems to be ok.

As a note, after the 'shoulder' incident that some of you guys had in here, there were no official call back for early adopters in HK that I heard of. So I am curious where all these comments came from. Perhaps the international retailers didn't want to take the risk so they just delayed the shipment until the problem was confirmed not to be a mass problem from HT???

Either way, I just wish everyone that receives this does not have any problems, whether with or without the extra instructions sheet.

Yup. I flexed it.
I'm wondering if you'll get the "new batch" because you had to wait a bit. Fingers crossed for ya!

Thanks I hope so too, I really expected more of this release though, I imagined it was going to be a really well done figure with hot toys at the helm, but it turned out to be worst than expected with the height issue, shoulder issue, suit melting issue and the boney body they used its less than exciting to receive it. I hope to have my mind changed with the product in hand but all these issues have stomped out my enthusiasm quite a bit...

I'm pretty sure the shoulder warning paper is not a warning for the defective shoulders. It's a warning that your suit might rip if the shoulders are raised passed 90 degrees.

My figure came with this warning and the shoulders are fine.

All the warnings Timcent sent me as well were regarding the suit ripping if the shoulders are bent too high.

All in the eye of the beholder I suppose.
I've had zero issues and think it looks absolutely perfect on the shelf.
I was worried before I got it but holding it and posing it changed all of that for me.
Have faith mate:wink1:

Timcent's description since it was first released regarding the warning label included within most boxes.

I've been messaging him a ton (great guy btw) and he has been telling me everything that Hot Toys representatives have been telling him, that the warning is regarding the suit ripping. The shoulder issue was a completely different issue and that is why we are still receiving the warning slips even though the figure was reportedly "fine tuned"
