Yep, I suppose his years overseeing BUFFY and ANGEL shows that he was more than capable of handling ensemble pieces, with just the right amount of action/drama/comedy blended together.

It's a shame his WONDER WOMAN never saw the light of day.

I'm not certain Wonder Woman was his.

Needs tweaking..

I think this group photo goes a long way in putting the Mark VII's goofball proportions in perspective. Look at Hawkeye, then imagine what kind of freakish Barbie-doll body and miniature egghead Tony Stark would need in order to fit in that suit. In fact, here's a photo of Tony without his suit.

Id say he could be shrunk down another 3/4-1" and he be close to perfect movie size. He is hunching down a little in the movie ad. But me personally I like him as is. Me want biggest strongest HULK!!!!!

They look awesome all together but I really cannot believe I am buying all of these and Fury, Loki and Coulson,
I might need help :cuckoo:

That movie ad is dubious for heights. Neither Black Widow or Hawkeye are anything like that tall compared to the rest. Thor is also quite a bit taller than Cap and Iron Man.

As I said before, a certain amount of that is an optical illusion created by Hot Toys (and a lot of other 1/6 makers) seeming to not understand the natural angle of the neck. They tend to always have their necks straight up and down. This always looks awkward as hell to me as it's a very unnatural and near impossible position for the neck in relation to the head and body to be at.

I posted this before but…

…and no, it's not bad posture. Someone said that the last time I posed this. Your neck is nearly always at a forward angle to some degree. Even when looking up it still remains somewhat forward. It's one of my biggest pet peeves with Hot Toys and why I much prefer when the neck is articulated at both the base of the skull and the body.

The "real" helmet in the film is so tight that only a small number of stunt men could actually even wear it. It's paper thin and mashes down the ears as well. Additionally on the CGI model the head in proportion to the rest of the body is tweaked a bit smaller still.

All that said, Hot Toys does tend towards heroic rather than realistic proportions. Iron Man is no different from anyone else. Sometimes it works better than others. I think Avengers Thor is a much bigger issue in terms of small headedness than Iron Man is. Also not all heads are the same size so comparing two different people isn't exactly fair.

Supposedly. Whedon wanted Cobie Smaulders in for the title role, too.

I always had faith in Whedon. I'm happy he's proven his doubters wrong, especially those from DC/Warner Bros.

I cannot believe there hasn't been a WW movie yet. They could make so many statements in this movie including a large portion of it done in a mythical Greek world for some really cool sets/effects. Yet all people seem to care about is how hot of a woman they find to play her. I also think you would really have to be a ****ty director to screw it up. Such an original character and more or less the first real woman superhero flick.
