I just imagined that once Tony was on board with the War MAchine being in Rhodey's hands, he might do one for himself. The same basic armour but in his own colours.
Although i expect that's what the MKVII was.

Been in this hobby for 4 years now and at only 20 I'm gonna be in it for as long as possible. I'm well aware of how Hot Toys work it just seems that some people can't read. I only said it would be cool if we got a 2 in 1 armour where you could replace the armour pieces, no different from the battle damaged Mark VI armour.
We don't know what Hot Toys will do, yes they will most likely produce 2 armours, one with the Iron Patriot scheme and one with the grey colour scheme but it doesn't stop a guy from speculating and wishing about what the possibilities are.

The 40 are supposed to look very similar or the same as one another. Apparently Stark commands an army at one point.

Well, to be honest all of the armors from the MKIII on are relatively similar. I think most casual fans would be hard pressed to notice the difference between the Mark 3, 4, 6 and 7.

It's really the color scheme that ties them together which is why I think the new armor strikes people as so different. I would guess the Mark II looks more different to most people from the Mark IV than the Mark III does and the II and III are all but identical in terms of the design if you ignore color.

I was watching Avengers again and I notice where this smile is at. Normally when Stark smiles its with teeth and its not really a smirk.
Its a the end when Loki says he is ready for that drink. All are stadning there with intense stares except Stark does this quick smirk.

It's kind of a bummer than War Machine seems to have lost a lot of the bulk.
They look awesome, I can't wait to have these guys on my shelf!

I wonder if all the pentagon shaped plates on Iron Patriot are to attach additional weapons ala the original Mark III or to a certain extent the mark 7. Probably not, probably just a design detail but they totally look like attachment points to my eye.

It's growing on me but IM primary color needs to be red...!
I like the DESIGN but do not like the color scheme.........

I really like some aspects of the mechanical design of the new Iron Man suit, the shoulders are pretty neat in particular. I do rather wish they had gone even further with changing the design though. It still maintains a lot of the same overall forms in the body and the head for sure. It's certainly different in it's shapes but not different enough imo.
That's one of the things I really liked between the Mark III and IV. The IV has a totally different design aesthetic using sharp angled lines and human anatomic forms instead of the round aircraft forms of the Mark III. The 7 goes back to those round aeronautic shapes and the new suit we're seeing seems to follow that same look albiet with a drastic change in color.
