Am i the only who cares that superman hasn't been a "Man" since Christopher Reeve?
This is the second "Superboy" movie so far and yet no one seems to care. :dunno
That is quite a superman collection though, how much money did he spend for all that?

That is true but i like good movie with a lot of action and great special effects. :) I love Chistoper Reeve Superman but MOS looks realy great in trailer. We can argue about how "Man" is Superman in MOS but the movie looks amazing (from the trailer).

Sorry I just have to address this. I wasn't going to but it's just confusing to me. What exactly makes Reeves more "manly" than Cavill. It's not like Reeves was Kris Kristofferson. Nothing about Reeves' upbringing is particularly "manly" by any standard I know. By the standards of the time and now I personally would say, looks wise, he was a bit of a pretty boy. He was younger than Cavill when he played the roll (26 vs 30).

Looks wise Cavill to me has that whole Brawny Man thing going on, he looks like a Lumberjack. Reeves looks like an anchroman, not to say I don't like Reeves as well and he SHOULD look like a newsman and especially made a great Clark Kent but I don't get what about him is so manly or hell why that should even be an issue.

Yeah, this is definitely a criticism that would never have occurred to me. I'm not a huge Superman fan but Man of Steel looks promising and Cavell seems more than credible in the role. Should he have a beard or something? :/

In a thread that's over 400 pages long about a single toy you're going to get off topic from time to time.

Hmmm, Tony Stark - Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist.

Superman - wears underoos on outside of tights.

Superman - (Bulletproof, indestructible, superhuman, free flying extra terrestrial who obviously gets a kick if he) wears underoos on outside of tights...would you ask him not to?

Well Tony Stark also wears underwear on the outside of his costume, they just happen to be made out of metal.
