Although the Mark VII isn't that old, I would find something sealed in a shipper as a bigger risk than a premium (coming from an individual person and not a business). There are frequently QC problems with this stuff, and with something with batteries especially, I'd much rather get something in good shape with the box and shipper but has been opened and inspected and the batteries removed. I'd only buy a sealed shipper second hand if it were a hell of a good price or if the seller takes returns.

My replacement hand arrived. I was worried whether it would match cause the listing said it was an Iron Man 3 hand. And I'm correct, that had gold on it. Well, it arrived today... and it was the EXACT hand I needed. It was identical to the opposite hand I already have. Which leads me to believe, this company in China broke into my house, stole my Mark 7 right hand, and sold it on EBay.

Finally some good luck. So happy.

Keep an eye on the classifieds forum here. You'll find one cheaper than that. I paid less than that for mine and I got it from a member here, brand new still sealed in the shipper.

I think you need to be a member to view the sale threads. Then to sell u need so much posts and be in good favors with the board.

I'm fairly new and I was able to get some HT from there with under 100 posts. From my understanding he should be able to.

Take some rough sandpaper and sand the back, inside, part of the lens. Fogging acrylic like that will always help to diffuse light.

Could you perhaps show us a picture with light off to see what the sanded eyes look like when not lit up?

I have no idea. It's pretty ridiculous if new, non premiums members can't even see the for sale threads. I can understand being premium in order to post for sale threads but requiring it for new members just to see the forum, that's just crazy. You're taking potential sales away from the paying premium members by doing that.

I can't. Shortly after those pics were taken, i altered that mask to have smaller eye holes(Like the AI customs, but before i got mine).

Barry, which ones are you using now? The AI customs or the one you modded? Can you post pictures comparing the one you made vs the AI ones?

Well I would think that new member seeing sale thread could just PM the sellers and work out paypal deals etc (which would circumvent what dave put in place, though I havent sold on here since the change), I remember 0 posters spamming my meesages harrassing me for sales that I had posted months back, that aspect gets really annoying

Barry, which ones are you using now? The AI customs or the one you modded? Can you post pictures comparing the one you made vs the AI ones?

I have the AI customs on my MKIV, MKVI and MKVII.
Here are comparison images between the one i made myself and Andrew's version(His is way better, both with smaller eye holes, and with better paintwork):

Aha yes it does look better (no offense). His version does look more menacing and closer to the screen version.

edit: How did you fit the mask on the Mark IV and VI? Weren't those helmets smaller? Sorry I don't have either so I wasn't sure how that could fit.

I can still see the sales threads. I wonder if older members were grand fathered in? The only reason I didn't change to a premium status is because I have no intentions of selling anything. What other benefits to upgrading are there?

I take no offence. Andrew's are far better than my attempt. It only took 20 minutes to throw together.
i bought two extra MKVII necks and helmets and put them on the MKIV and MKVI.
Thats how the other two AI masks fit.
