Best sculpt so far but not a huge fan of the smirk. I like more neutral expressions for better pose options. But all and all this is a sick fig! I love how brolic this suit is in the forearms, sholders and chest. It looks so bad ass like that.

I see a little Jeff Goldblum in that portrait. But the suit looks killer.

Sometimes I really wonder what goes on at places like Hot Toys. You sculpt the ultimate RDJ HS with the new Mark 1 2.0, then you look at this and you wonder. I mean, it's not bad, but it's not in the same league as the Mark 1 version. Just take the MK 1 head sculpt and tweak it. I have hope this will be improved before release though.

Q1 2013 is a good release date for this figure. So many figures in Q3/4 2012 that HT knows it doesnt want this figure to hurt other figure sales.

I'm guessing the only Avengers figures that'll be released in 2012 are Nick Fury, Hawkeye, and Captain America. Thor might make it, but I'm guessing the rest will be spread out across 2013, with Hulk probably a good year off if not longer. It would be nice to see SSC & Hot Toys be more realistic with their release dates, but I take them as estimates that are determined merely by the time period they are put up for preorder in.

They probably aren't getting them at all, it's not out yet

I imagine they're just taking a chance, someone will most likely buy at this price

my friend in Hong kong told me its out already there and that's why its on ebay now. but i'm still waiting for SS pre-order email to get my HT. and hping they release SS exclusive thing
