Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

And there would be no reason for them to include a Banner head. It doesn't go on a hulk body, and I can't imagine they case about you getting a sculpt to bash a Banner.

but again as i said i wouldn't mind they add a bruce banner hs(if its accurate that is :lol), and who would put a banner head on a hulk body? :rotfl theres a reason why ht all this time sell all those body types in the market

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

Sorry bro but all those joints look crappy. Some people don't care which is cool, to each their own. But with that said, it still looks like garbage (not your work, the exposed joints).

Its a toy, not a statue. There will be exposed joints. Looks fine to me.

As for the Banner HS, it would be a way to let people kit bash their own banner if they feel there won't be enough interest in a separate Banner figure. It would also be a trojan horse to get people to buy more HT bodies.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

Some joint showing are fine, but lets not kid ourselves here. We are paying $200+ for "toys" that are meant to look realistic, not children's play things. How those joints are handled would look break the illusion too much.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

$250+ figures right now have joints showing around the neck and jaw. They have terrible wrists. Molded hair. It's never going to be perfect. Even a seamless Hulk would have a mold seam line somewhere. Like you said, let's not kid ourselves.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

For headsculpts, my perferences would be:
1. Grimacing, closed mouth, teeth bared
2. Angry, closed mouth
3. Roaring open mouth

For hands:
1. Fists
2. Grabbing
3. Slapping
4. Open-Clenched (fingers splayed but bent)
5. Relaxed

I'd be extremely giddy if HT does somthing like this! In fact, it would be a dream come true! Nice list! HT - make it so! :clap

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

As a pack-in, HT could always add in a full set of Banner clothes/shoes with a HS. I know I've got an extra body or 2 laying around that I could use it on. I did the same thing with the T-1000 HS that came with my Sarah Connor/T-1000 in disguise figure. I thought it was strange that it came with it at first but then realised what I could do. How dastardly of HT to figure out a way to make us "have to" buy nude bodies, when certain people like myself don't make many customs. I salute you HT, carry on.

Not my custom. Just rather liked it. Those of you STILL hoping for rubber bodies?

Screw rubber... use silicone. No more exposed joints on action figures, period! You people got stop living in the past. In 2 years time I don't even want to hear about exposed joints anymore.

In 2 years we'll complain about how the silicone folds/creases and makes the all the figures look like they're wearing body suits :rotfl

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

Im perfectly fine with anything that keeps the costs down and still looks good :monkey1

Screw rubber... use plastic. No more ripped leaky action figures, period! You people got stop living in the past. In 2 years time I don't even want to hear about tearing or rotting figures anymore.
