If the teeth showing expression is what the HT sculpt is based off, that's perfect, just enough to give him some serious agression but not roaring.

Every single Hulk figure from the Avengers so far has had that teeth showing expression, I would prefer some variety. The same thing over and over again is boring. Two head sculpts would be nice.

They do it because it's the best representation of the character. Two would be nice, I'm just glad to hear about the one if that's all we get. Roaring is too extreme. Closed mouth angry would work too. Outside of those 3, I can't see much else to do for expression on Hulk's face.

I think there are some other expressions they could work in that are pretty representative of the character. I'd love to see a smirking head, which I feel represents modern Hulk (the whole embracing the monster). Also, I just think Hasbro and Diamond Select didn't really sculpt the best angry, teeth clenched look, it's like his mouth is angry but not really the rest of his face. So depending on how Hot Toys does it'll probably be much, much better.

I think the upper right is perfect, and I actually think Hasbro's done a good job too, Diamond did miss the mark though.
The Hulk has the features of Jack Kirby's early art mixed with Ruffalo's face, and this particular expression best suits showing that off as well.
Other than the face we're getting, I think something like this would be a cool alternate.

Clearly ht should make at least 2 expressio for hulk, while waiting for the full reveal of this fig, my expectation for the accessories is getting less, and i don't think ht would make any diorama base for this goliath, so i expect ht to give 1 extra hs and just some pairs of hand, just my opionion

There is no excuse for HT not to provide multiple (3-5) headsculpts with this figure, along with about a dozen different hands, since he will probably be very expensive and not come with much, if anything, as far as accessories are concerned.

I'd buy a Banner figure if they'd made one. I would pose him in front of the Hulk holding his glasses. Like something you'd see in a promo poster. Would look awesome, eh?

I also can't see a 2 in 1 with Banner happening. Hulk will be expensive enough on its own. If you add an entire 2nd figure, that will just send the price WAY TOO high. And there would be no reason for them to include a Banner head. It doesn't go on a hulk body, and I can't imagine they case about you getting a sculpt to bash a Banner.

I would think "added cost" to a figure that will have to be a unique build from the ground up is all the excuse they need. I would expect each head sculpt to add at least another $20 to the cost of the figure, due to both the time needed to make the sculpt, and the craftmanship needed to paint it properly.
The best reason to include more than 1 HS would simply be that this is likely to be the only Hulk figure that gets released. There are not many options outside changing the pants, and due to space and cost, its unlikely fans will look to have multiples on their shelves.
For headsculpts, my perferences would be:
1. Grimacing, closed mouth, teeth bared
2. Angry, closed mouth
3. Roaring open mouth
For hands:
1. Fists
2. Grabbing
3. Slapping
4. Open-Clenched (fingers splayed but bent)
5. Relaxed
