Didn't it turn out that that Hulk was a robot and that Batman never fought the real Hulk? I've only read bits and pieces of that comic a long time ago so I don't remember alot about it.

Pretty much. I recall reading in the Marvel Universe guide that Hulk can take a 45 cal bullet point blank to the eye without harm, and be standing next door to ground zero of a nuke and still be able to handle it.

Bats is not going to be able to knock the wind out of him with any sort of unaided strike.

Pretty much. I recall reading in the Marvel Universe guide that Hulk can take a 45 cal bullet point blank to the eye without harm, and be standing next door to ground zero of a nuke and still be able to handle it.

Bats is not going to be able to knock the wind out of him with any sort of unaided strike.

Which is why I feel the ending sucked. Had Bats out smarted him by say, knocking something big into him or have something heavy fall on him, I would've been okay with it. Poor writing IMO.

Ok but are they going the icon route with a full plastic long lasting figure or part rubber.Hands= fists, relaxed then articulated,Joints made like the elbows and shoulder sockets on muscle figures are done. I can handel that.

Comics or not, its always been a popularity contest with X vs X. Batman couldn't dream of hurting the Hulk...just no way so um...deal with that. Poor writing on one comic doesn't undo decades of good writing and character strength.

Batman excels at controlling the battlefield. He would never willfully go toe to toe with the Hulk. It's simply which fanbase was greater at that time, not a serious contest. Kind of like the WWE.

Edit: For the record I'm cool with Batman winning, but in a more realistic calm-him-down fashion using diversionary tactics and devices.

Finally saw Avengers last night and cannot wait for this figure. HULK is my all-time favorite Marvel character. Having him tower over my detolf is going to be badass!!

It has the potential to be but there will no doubt be something that Hot Toys screws up on, however big or small it may be.

Not a chance, it is the most basic figure design short of a naked man, there are characters with far more intricate costumes and designs that would be more impressive, in fact we've already gotten plenty. This might be the most awe inspiring for it's size, that's about it.
