Likeness isn't there but it is a good looking figure.

Figure looks great, price looks
For $100 figure looks great.
For $235, it looks utter garbage.

Actually, having worked in retail most of my life, a $75 markup really isn't that bad. It's usually double.
I seriously bet Sideshow gets these from Hot Toys for under $160/ea. You do the math from there.
After the shock has now worn off, this makes me ask the question of why?
I know people instantly go towards greed, but is that the reason? Is it the license? Or the likeness rights? Is it complexity of costume? Is it to cover the cost of failed figures like Jake Sully? Is it in fact Sideshow? What do people think?
$235$235
Trust me, its not Sideshow settings those prices, its HT. Sideshow knows better than to expect this much from such a bare bones figure
Doesn't matter who is setting the price. It's ridiculous and I'm not paying.

But most places are only giving about a 10% discount from Sideshow's and then charging shipping, so it usually makes it about the same price.
I'm not defending them or anything, I'm just sayin'.
Everybody has to make money somehow. Unless you can buy wholesale, you're gonna pay a high markup. Even Walmart gets things for 50 cents and sells them for $3.
If this came with another headsculpt, especially one that looks like Hugh, I might consider it, but since my pretend boyfriend said no, it's a pass for me.
