Well they probably did what they always do. Say the thing is sold out to hype it up and save back some for waitlist conversions.

I remember when the batman begins ex figure sold out and a week later they had more in stock, That was not a PROMO edition so i'm not sure if sideshow will surprise any unlucky souls that didnt get to pre order this bad boy.

Sometimes I hate this hobby. Sitting around watching the remaining inventory drop to scalpers while real fans couldn't buy.

Very frustrating.

Got 1 piece for my own. But man when you see a person can submit application after application for a lucky draw, it cant be help thinking HT/Action City didnt do much to ensure these exclusives land on the hands of the fans.

That would make no sense business wise in this case..if they had another 300 pieces..they still would have sold out before midnight. I was on the fence with this one..but ordered anyway.
On the fence because I normally get free shipping and 20% off each figure..but my guy couldnt order this one in time...and two..its expensive..but from the photos..my favorite Iron Man so far.

It's unlikely you'll see these back on being that this is extremely limited just like the other Avengers Ironman.Are they even offering a waitlist for this?They should,considering how many buyers either don't have the funds or just change their minds.I personally had this figure in my cart but at the last minute decided to cancel because more than likely i would've just sold it for double(maybe even triple)the price!^_^

I don't know. Everything I've ever seen go up for sale has converted on the waitlist. Even the Spooktacular euoplocephalus egg that was limited to 200 pieces and sold out like this converted on the waitlist. Sideshow even posted on their newsletter that people should jump on the waitlist to get one a month or two after the sale. I'm not saying they'll have another 300 held back, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did hold a undetermined amount back for waitlist conversions.
