I guess the weren't certain the exact number when pre-order went up. It appears it's shipping soon so they probably have a better understanding of the count from HT thus the conversions.

Hmmm. Is HT just making more to full all the wait list orders. Strange all of the conversions come now. I can't imagine people are actually cancelling before the money is due.

That is what I am wondering. If they make as many of these as they do of the.regular figures then I can see a lot of people cancelling.

I thought it was 3000 total, with 800 going to HK and the rest being split up among there partners in other markets?

I bet it is mostly people cancelling and charges not going through. And the waitlists converting also hints that it will probably be shipping sooner than we think. Probably in July, August at the latest.

Seeing all the waitlist conversions, I checked ebay. Its still selling for $700-800. Thats pretty darned tempting.

The email stated it'll convert to order on June 28th then ship shortly afterwards. The question is what does shortly mean (1 week or 1 month)

I thought that most waitlists didn't start converting until the figure was about the ship in HK. But I don't know that for a fact.

I bet this will be out before Amazing Spiderman, and maybe even before Catwoman.

Look like hot toys are making plenty since we dont know the true number produced. They open for international orders then everyone gets converted. Sounds like a regular release to me. Anywaays congrats.

That was a typo... they meant 30000

I just got my wait list conversion about 2 hours ago- really excited to be able to get this at retail price. Plus I got the ship notice for the regular Mark VII - it will be here on July 1st. Best day ever for me with Sideshow!

I got on the waiting list the morning it sold out, missed by a couple of hours, and still on waitlist. Sideshow I have spent at least $2000 so far this year, give me a break.

Nope, that was the Mark VI promo. A lot of people guessed the Mark VII might be the same but nothing official was ever announced.

With the one selling out so quickly last year, I wouldn't be surprised if they just upped the edition size before it even went on sale. They maybe did 5,000 in the US this time, who really knows?

Then again, these waitlist conversions could be cancellations or catching people that had ordered more than one. I'm sure they wouldn't come on here saying that they got caught and SS cancelled one of their orders.

Anyway, good luck all. I'm still waiting too.
