My waitlist converted to a live order Thursday night. And when I arranged payment with sideshow, I was told it would definitely be shipping by the end of July.
As long as someone gets theirs converted I'm happy, it means there's still a chance!

It's like how much you spend determines if your waitlist get converted if I didn't know better, it makes me sad.
To be honest to hear when some have got on the waitlist and then heard their waitlist had converted, it wouldn't surprise me to learn that SS doesn't go by the order that a person got on it, but by how much that person spends with him.
Really; doesn't anyone have any proof of anything otherwise? It's like their contests; I swear I see some of the same names popping up as winners every now and then, and they even admitted to me the same person can win multiple times.

Sorry but thats a little paranoid. I have not spent a penny with them and my waitlist converted
Surprisingly, my last flex payment is still scheduled for this Friday and hasn't been pushed back? Has anyone else's been moved or are we really going to see this in July?
Also, for that matter, neither has my final flex for TASM hasn't been changed either and due 7/5.
Not to be a conspiracy theorist, but it very well could be what happens...however SS would never admit to it, as well they shouldn't. It makes sense for them from a profit standpoint to keep their "big spenders" happy and buying more. People can doubt all they want, but the reality is that when you've worked with as many companies as I have, you start to see a pattern. Profit is the primary motivation. You would be shocked (or not) to see how some companies are run. I'm not knocking SS if this is the case, it simply is what it is. (I'm on the WL for this as well) Also, if you think that contest winners run by most small(er) companies are completely selected at random, you need a lesson in America 101. Just saying.

I haven't bought a single thing from Sideshow and my waitlist converted.
I agree with this.
I'm not sure this is what SS is doing, but it makes sense. Its like volume incentives. With many businesses, the more volume you buy, the cheaper each individual piece is. Like a case of beer. Buy a draft at a bar for $5. Buy a 6 pack for $10. Buy a case for $30.
Of course I buy everything from SS so I hope this is how they work. But I doubt it. With the volume they sell, that would be a lot of work. I would guess its either in order of time, or completely random who gets a conversion???? Who knows ???
Funny, but it may be true...not saying it absolutely is in this case with SSC, but I've seen it first hand. Most companies aren't all about fairness, butterflies, and warm fuzzes. They're about money. Now, I'm not trying to start arguments, just saying that more often than not, things aren't as cut and dry as everyone thinks.
