It is weird especially how proud they are of everything Iron Man, to go through all the trouble of big elaborate over the top full size displays, customs by movie stars, actual car and set pieces from the movie and then display a fake BD MK VII promo.

Hopefully we will see the real deal soon or if this it then maybe it will look better in OMG's photos.

:exactly: That's how I feel about it, why display everywhere but not be the real deal? I mean I hope it looks a lot better but as it appears at more events it seems as if this is the one :(

Yeah, it is an old video but I just can't see hot toys releasing any other version than that one. There's a huge difference between the two and wouldn't definitely piss off a lot of collectors. I probably would cancel my pre-order if it did happen :lol

Lol stop lying to yourself, you wouldn't cancel it. Either way, to me its still an amazing piece, yes I want it to be the first pic but if it aint I guess ill just have to live with it.

:rotfl I'm being serious! If that is the final product then I really don't see a reason to get it because it looks so much like the regular Mark VII...the only upside is the base, which is cool, but definitely not worth a new purchase. Did you get the Regular Mark VII?

Lol im still calling your bluff, yeah I got a Mark VII but I think im only gonna keep one so depending on how this BD looks I may or may not keep it.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see...hopefully this is released in the next couple of weeks

May be interested in getting one of these... but not paying the inflated eBay prices - already been $crewed enough this year - including on figures I customized and had to pass on inflated pricing (I hate this, but eh that's reality). PM me if anyone has one for sale below the eBay pricing, thank you.
I have my fingers crossed for you.
If you get one, let us all know!

good luck finding one below "Ebay prcies" cause its not going to happen, I would much rather sell mine on Ebay and make some good money than scalp off people on this site, I have too much respect for some of the people on this forum

If you where lucky enough to pick one up I don't see anything wrong with selling it, I have my regular Mark VII and am happy with it, the way I look at it I can sell it and make enough to buy some figures I actually want

You could always sell to somewhere here for ebay price minus the ebay fees, which for something like this is a good chunk of change. You still make the same amount of money, plus someone on the forum gets a good deal below ebay price. Win-win.

yea but for what's the figure is going for already, I find it very unlikely someone off the forum is going to fork over $600 plus for the figure

either way its still a ways out, we still don't even know what the final production looks like or when its coming out

True that. Whole lotta guess work for now.

Guess I can get a Midas to trade or sell for one. I suspect they'll end up staying inflated, even if they dip down in price for a short time once Sideshow gets a limited edition in.

That might not be a bad idea. I have the regular Mark VII an have this ordered. I might consider trading this for a Midas too.

Preordered this mainly for the repulsor pose hands and the open face headsculpt. Since then they added those hands for the regular MK7 release and have an open face sculpt for the Silver Centurion armor. Dont know if Ill keep it or not... If the battle damage parts look really good Ill probably keep it but I havent been really impressed with any of the battle damaged IM figures. They just dont capture the look of torn and twisted bullet ridden metal to me,just painted plastic "damage".:dunno There was a guy on here who painted his IM2 War Machine to give it battle damage and that looked sublime,he perfectly captured a war-torn metal look on the suit. Anyways waiting impatiently to see the final results of this figure.
