Just get yourself a new set of batteries and pop them in.
And good thinking with the base. Looks great.

Lol, i knew it all along.
They would have had a riot on their hands if they sold us that one for $300.
:rotfl

Thats right. So many were having a cow and talking about cancelling.:cuckoo::slap :lol

Well, UPS is gay and didn't leave my package. Must be a new UPS guy because my regular guy will leave my packages on my porch. So now I'm jumping thru hoops just to go pick it up tonight from the UPS store. I hate that SS puts the stipulations on their packages.

Well really the UPS guy would be liable if he did leave it seeings that Sideshow requires it to be signed so in fact he was just doing his job. In regards to Sideshow, I'm pretty sure all you have to do is contact them and they will wave the signing requirement but then they can't be held responsible if the package goes missing.

has anyone with a hulk and this mark7 base put them together to see what theyd look like? i like the base but ironman just doesn't really fit on the base as much as id like. but thought hulk would fit better on it

Damn I love it! :peace

WOW just opened him and damn any doubt I had from the showings at conventions was put to rest. Pics don't do this guy justice, he looks excellent in hand and the head sculpt is stunning. So glad I got him and cheers to everyone else who got lucky too.:yess: If you missed out I hope some nice people will sell it at a reasonable price:peace

Nice pic above - so that is the base that comes with it? I didn't get the battle damaged version :( Detail looks real good.

Box arrived, did not use the pack out option so the shipping box is a little battered and they decided to place the labels all over but no biggy I guess as the inner box is fine and undamaged apart from a very minor dent in the corner. Since I am not intending on selling this for a profit for the foreseeable future its not a major issue for me and i doubt it will be to someone who actually wants the figure should I ever choose to sell it.

you are a bigger man than i. does anyone else think that packaging arriving in this condition for a $300 figure is unacceptable? i feel shelling out $10 for a small box is also unacceptable as most EVERY retailer that sells HT puts them in another box when they ship to avoid this kind of damage. some collectors DO value the original brown shipper and it shouldn't have a shipping label on one side and an advertisement window sticker on the other. maybe someone should give sideshow a clue.

Sideshow did make their Iron Man Comiquette holding an American Flag. That should tell you something. Is there a more logical explanation for Sideshow restricting the Iron Man figure to U.S. customers only? I can't think of one. If you can, please explain.

this was NOT restricted to US only. we are talking sideshow distribution here and not including the Asian markets who had them available way before we did. sideshow got an allotment for the US only. THEN, they got a smaller allotment for European collectors.

if anyone should be upset, it's Canadian collectors that got left out in the cold. hey...just realized that line was funny. :lol

And Mexican collectors. And South American collectors. And collectors in Oceania.

Big deal. I like the brown shippers because they keep the nice art boxes safe and tell me what figure is inside. There is nothing aesthetically pleasing about them, so stickers, labels, some dings in that box are no big deal. It's a shipper, not the box for the item. Sideshow even says on the website they don't consider them part of the collectible but just shipping boxes that happen to have the name on the figure printed on them.

and it offers little to no protection against shipping abuse right down to the collector box and figure inside. i did mention once i actually saw tire tracks from most likely a package bin across one non-packed out figure. that figure was smashed and was returned.

it seriously reminds me of a star wars trilogy DVD set i bought and the seller shipped it in a plastic bag. it arrived trashed. why bother shipping like that if damage is almost guaranteed?

This is why I order from BBTS unless it's a Sideshow Exclusive. Does not cost extra to double box, and they pack/protect it very well. I bite the bullet and pay the extra $10 whenever I order from Sideshow...

See now that's a fair point. It offers MODERATE protection against shipping damage. I'm lucky to live close to SSC so my packages don't get tossed around as much and despite some small bumps to shippers, my collector boxes have been fine except for one ding on my iron man box, which admittedly annoyed me.

So I definitely understand the desire for a pack out to prevent damage to the collector box, but regarding labels and such on the shippers, that doesn't bother me at all.

Im weird then because I want the shipper mint. I hate labels, even the bbts inventory labels. I always ask if the item has its shipper first before I consider buying a hot toys. I actually had a seller on this forum go off on me because I asked for the condition of the shipper too. Blew my mind that he did that.

That giant clear fedex label would eat at my soul.

Guess its just a preference then, as most my shippers while in good condition only get stored away. I got Blade from a fellow board member it did not come with the shipper but they packaged it well and the box and figure inside was in mint condition. That's all that bothers me, I am collecting figures not shipping boxes, as long as the box containing the figure is in good condition that's all that matters to me.

While I respect people like the shipper in good condition that is not always possible, what happened to my shipper is not my fault and I would hate to think it would stop me selling a figure when there is nothing wrong with it. Plus I am not going to contact sideshow about a cheap cardboard shipper.

I do too. I want the shippers. Hell, I paid $20 for a Hawkeye shipper bc the Hawkeye I bought didn't come with one. And the BBTS labels do bother me, but for whatever reason ups or fedex labels don't bother me.

Like I said, I like the shippers bc they protect the boxes while they sit in my closet.
