Looks blue to me :dunno

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

they werent blue in the film...

Yes, your right, they had a silvery gun metal organic look, there was a hint of blue in there, sure, but it was a complex mix of colors as they wanted the suit to look otherworldly and organic..

And the suit in those pics has been heavily pst produced. VFX'd. In varied wildly throughout the movie.

I would say Guyvers looks better than black though.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Are any of you guys concerned about the waist grabber leaving permanent marks/impressions on the suit? I'd really like to pose him in flight but am a little worried that after some time, the suit will show where it was held in the rubber pattern. Might be too soon to say.

Don't be I've had it in the grabber for days before. It's not that tight around and plus that back part of the claw makes it that it supports the back of the figure more securely making the claw a less tighter fit :lecture

Which is what I used a combo of metallic mix of colors. it doesn't look at all blue in person.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

That actually looks really good guyver. Nice work.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Hmm didn't know his wrist armor was slate. Might look into having that part spray painted lightly to match the hue.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Really love how this turned out (vast improvement from the first images we saw). Won't pick him up but will certainly enjoy the pics of this one.

Yep, I'd say they were a dark "reflective" blue. That's why in some photographs and in certain scenes they appear silver due to lighting.

Ah, good point about the extra back support they added. Forgot about that. Thanks for easing my mind guyver.

Should have him in hand Thursday.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

hope someone do thinner cuffs, some sort of hard fabric maybe...

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Someone already repainted the suit to the black suit version. Looks nicely done. Wouldn't be surprised to see HT doing this with a skull covered base.
