I really like the texture of the suit. Somebody slap some red trunks on this guy so we can see him with the semi-classic look.

Does it look better with or without Jor-El?

They both look great! The lighting really brings out the muscle definition and the details in the head sculpts. But there's something about Superman having his own shelf with his cape bellowing that just looks so badass.

I agree!! I think his cape is his companion piece, haha.

Yes but you need the big Terminator Arnold hand pegs.

I was able to use my spare hand pegs from my T2 MMS.:lecture

So you can't just use the regular hand pegs that this figure comes with?

I just want to thank all the guys who posted images here, keeping it awesome for all of us who don't have this figure yet. I cannot wait until sideshow starts shipping these out- what a thread!

Also a huge fan of the Cavill body with the Reeve head, looks great.:clap

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Can't help but to chime with a thought: If you have seen the movie and were touched by all that it represents (and the music and cinematography and the gentleness that Man of Steel portrayed), how can this not be your go-to figure right now? I just got hit with that epiphany and ordered two before they sell out. I sure hope Sideshow's figure MATCHES to a tee the Man of Steel pics and posters we see around the web because the feel-good emotion this MoS movie and actor arouses is unprecedented. If they get anything wrong, it might as well not exist. The movie producers just nailed everything about this movie. The trailer, posters, casting, emotion and casting that picture perfect stud. I'm just sayin. My grandmother and mother got forced into seeing it with me and loved it. Two women who probably saw "On Golden Pond" as their last movie. Ha. Seems this movie easily transcends generations. If you haven't seen the movie, do yourself a favor: get the DVD this weekend, unplug the phone, turn up the surround sound, and just watch away. And Maximus as Jerrol? 'Nough said. Movie nails it ten fold to prior Supermans per design/style/takeaway. Okay, enough of that. Just proud to be an American right now. Kumbaya. Back to reality and crying over my empty wallet now.

Well you can, you just have to really squeeze it in there, because I tried. It is a little loose, because the arm holes are bigger, but with the gauntlets on it kind of evens out. I just hate the looseness. Even with the gauntlets on, but if you have the bigger pegs to spare, I'd use those. :lecture
