Another great pic!
I love that Statue.
My Brother regularly chats to Tim Bruckner, and has a couple of wax sculpts of his, from pre-production pieces.
Tim tells a tale of the DC execs wanting them to actually be kissing in the statue, but having to explain to them that if you sculpted them as one piece, it would look like *The Thing* when it got painted, lol.

Just for fun! Lol

Haha nice man, that's awesome. Love Bruckner's work, and yeah that statue is a beauty. Just bought the Batman/Catwoman Kiss statue that he sculpted as well and it really is beautiful.

The guy is a genius. For my Brother's birthday last year, his Wife arranged a two hour phone conversation with Tim so they could talk about Stewart's collection, and all his favourites that he had which Tim had sculpted.
Tim is a great guy. Retired now, but a real gent.

Oh cool, your brother wouldn't be Stew Murray would it? If so, I watch a lot of his Superman collection reviews over on Youtube.

Just finished my Man of Steel Mod with the new cape from Tony Mei.

Sweet!
The mods make all the difference!
And the Tony Meis cape really transforms the figure.

He is indeed.
Stay tuned for some new ones. He sent a bit of a *grumble, grumble* email to the guy who runs DC Direct about the current crummy QC on the figures, and the guy sent him some advance items as an apology.

So I got this recently but haven't got any other figures with me at uni. Has anyone got any pics with it next to another figure? It seems a lot bigger than other hot toys to me and not sure if I wanna keep it if it doesn't scale with anything. An IM armour or Thor etc. male figure would be good to compare it to.

The scale is a lot different. He's about an inch taller than the average 1/6 figure.

Thanks. I always try and make him something unexpected for Christmas and birthdays.

Haha that's what I try to do for my brother too :hi5:

This year repainting the BR Joker heads and getting the KO DX11 outfit for him so he can have bother BR joker and purple suit joker for display

I really want one of these guys but that black trim just kills it. Doesn't belong at all...

I can live with the cape bulge, or change out the capes, but that black... I'd like to see the screen grab they were looking at when they made that decision...

Do you mean linings on the costume? I thought someone here confirm than it is actually black color when he went on a tour to the WB Studio and see the actual costume.

I thought I read that somewhere too, but I know it doesn't appear to be black in a single frame of the movie.

It's just like the Han Solo Hoth jacket color debate. Appears blue on screen but the actual jacket is brown:dunno
