Ah well. I can never get a good finish with brush paint and I couldn't buy this and not get rid of that black. It may be accurate for the costume, but not as it appeared on screen. Besides, the only place a superman suit should have black is the "s" background of a kingdom come suit.

Hello,
I wonder if someone could do me a favour? Does anyone have both superman and jor-el and if so would they measure the height of their boots and let me know if they are the same height. Reason is I am putting together a black suit version of him and i don't really want to paint the boots if i can help it. So far I have used the zod suit and that worked well, it is a tiny bit lose in places but that can be fixed as ht glued the blue suit to make it fit better on the red and blue version. Just need a cape now may dye the red one or buy a zod one and cut it down.

I mean you could take about 1/4"-3/8"out of the thighs with a dremel and epoxy sculpt it back together and then but him on shorter ankle pegs. that would fix the height issue. it's just a tedious thing to do

the body is almost too long as is... id hate to see what that would do

I don't seen anything wrong with the body honestly. Yea yea it's too tall or whatever but eh I guess it only really matters to ppl displaying him next to anything other than other MoS figures. I was looking the other day and the DX13 heads, just the heads, are the same size as the head+neck of the HT BR Joker sculpts yet both figures look fine, just like this figure. Idk I'm happy with this figure. I see nothing wrong with the height or body size. He looks pretty well proportioned to me

the mid section is a bit too long and not proportionate, its most visible when his leg is raised at the hip. Looking at the nude body its the length of his ab section that goes 1/4 to 1/2 an inch too long,
Eh I don't see a problem with it. Looks proportional to me
