i always kicked myself because i didnt realize my ssc purchased mos had a big crease in the boot on one side
by time i realised it, it was too late(months had passed)
now it sounds like they wouldnt have done anything anyways

Sorry to hear that. I'm very obsessive about my belongings. What may seem like a tiny defect to someone ends up being the only thing that I can focus on with a figure.

in your case, you have every right to demand a replacement, im surprised ssc gave you the run around
sorry to hear about it

thank you sir! I removed the boot and I can see the foam below the peg. Do I need to pull the foam up into the bent spot and re-attach?

If you can access a pair of needle noses pliers, pull the peg out. You will see the foam part and you will be in a better position to realign it.
If the worst comes to the worst, you can remove the foam completely. The peg works the same without it.

Man that sucks, you can clearly tell its not right. If you paid with your credit card I would call them so you get your money back.

They offered for me to send it back but so far they haven't offered a replacement. Which doesn't help me, because I want the figure. Of course I could buy it somewhere else but I had preferred to buy through SS and I also got a great deal on it because of Spooktacular. Still waiting to hear back from my customer service rep. They sent me an e-mail at 1:00 pm PST and I responded by 1:30 pm PST. No response from them yet...

:impatient:

Welp should have never looked in here....I pulled the trigger and ordered. Came up to about $160 with current sale and coupon.

Finally received a reply from SS that they still wouldn't send a replacement. My sales rep had her manager look at the figure and they "firmly believe that they could not replace it with a figure that would be an improvement." Which is worrisome if that means the rest of their stock is covered in glue and has been improperly packaged.

:slap

I Would just get your money back then.... I hate it when they pull that crap with "Oh they're all the same", which I highly doubt.

sorry to hear it, the boot alone warrants a replacement

I sent another rant to them about their unexpectedly poor customer service. I look forward to a response this Friday telling me that they can't help me.

Yeah this is super frustrating. I could soooooort of understand if it was an out of stock figure that they don't really have any replacements for. But MoS Supes (as awesome as I think he is) obviously has a large stock or else he wouldn't have been in so many ridiculous sales during Sppok. So to think they cannot replace him with a better one is pretty much B.S. in my opinion.

After 10 days and not receiving any help from SS I have no choice but to return the figure. Question: does anyone know if I can just purchase another MoS Superman figure through SS while I'm returning one that I just purchased from them due to the low quality of it? Or am I going to have to find another venue?

With how SS has been while you tried to get a replacement, I'd order a new one elsewhere. You already know you won't get good service if there's another defect. I'd recommend BBTS, I bought my Hulk from them and they do automatic pack outs. You would end up spending more than you did in the sale but in the long run it would be worth it.

Thanks for the advice. Just a little disappointing since I was excited the sale was so good.

Do you think it matters how many previous purchases you had from them? I have a fair amount of SS purchases and had no trouble getting replacement for outfit issues on other figures.
