The MoS sculpt is definitely their best effort at Cavill's likeness. It's a shame that the suit isn't as accurate as it could/should be.

Agree, I recall seeing a repainted MoS suit where the color was closer to how it looked int he film and it made an immense difference.

Do you have a rub on the right hand side of the nose there?(The head's right, not ours)

Yep! It does have a small paint rub on its nose and the back of the head, but they're not so noticeable unless you inspect it closer or take close up pics lol

Just finished my second ever suit repaint and am quite happy with it.

I think the collar mod and a darker suit color really enhances this figure so much. With a few tweaks I think this is a contender for best Cavill Superman figure.

With HT doing a lot of 2.0s lately, would be nice to get one for this guy with with the updated tech for the suit, better boots and cape as well as a silver painted body.

no, regular plastic just flesh tone. HT didn't start doing silver until the BvS figure and then chrome on both JL figures.

Oh wow, interesting. I didn’t know that.
I missed out on all the Cavill Superman figures, which is why I’m really hoping we get a reissue so I can grab one. The secondary market prices are a bit looney toons.

I get that. While I’ll more than likely get the InArt BvS Trinity, I would love if HT (or even InArt) were to make an MoS 2.0 as it’s my favorite suit for Cavill.

I’ve never had the guts to do the collar mod personally. It looks great in your pics though.

B/c that’s how it was actually done in the movies to get the metallic shine look under the blue suits. In MoS and BvS, the muscle suit was black material with the muscle plates painted chrome silver, and in JL the muscle plates were painted mirror chrome. The MoS HT figure base body isn’t painted silver however the BvS one is to try to match better with how the real suit was done, and then again with the JL figures but in mirror chrome. The JL figures take it a step further by having black outlines painted around the muscles to be a little more like how it was done in the movies.
