Received my MoS today. Glad I chose to use my rewards points and snag this piece; nearly passed. Beautiful work by HT!. Between this and the DX13, HT keeps upping the bar and producing some stellar figures.

Beyond the obvious height issue, my only complaint about the figure itself is that the ankles are really fat. Does not look good for Superman to have cankles.

As far as the whole package goes, I wish HT would include a standard crotch-grabber with all figures. I prefer those as they are a space saver in general and as it has been discussed already, the flight stand clasp leaves an indentation on the MoS suit.

Complaints aside, MoS looks killer mixed in with my Nolan Batman figures.

Is it possible to mod the clamp so that it doesn't squeeze so tightly? What about a rubber band or something to hold the clamp in the open position so that it's supporting rather than grabbing?

Sounds like it could be worth a try. As always, just be mindful of the suit to make sure the rubber-band isn't somehow hurting it.

I mean placing the rubber band around the back of the clamp, where you squeeze to open the clamp itself. Shouldn't come into contact from that position. I imagine the cap could rest on it in some positions but I don't think it would bother the cloth cape material.

Whoo-hoo!! I just got my replacement Superman today and it looks awesome sitting in my office display case!! It just has tons of "presence". He is a big boy but it actually fits with Superman. The cape doesn't bug me either, I'm just so blown away by everything else. And a big thanks to SideShow for making it right for me.
Now I can't wait for the next figure...which will be either Adam West Batman or Iron Man Mk.42. Whichever comes out first. The only thing that sucks now is the wait.

Without the Insagram filter.. lol.. It drapes 100x better than the stock cape.. So much more natural. HUGE upgrade.

By the way, bit off topic, is your curio display case about 5 feet tall? I ask because i ordered one that has 3 shelves and it looks similar to yours but i havent seen it in person myself. It looks like yours has a good amount of clearance, and all around your display is awesome man

I bent a pin and lost another, got frustrated.. but thankfully Tony included 2 extras, lol. Here's another pic in my display.

Love that shelf snoop. I have mine on a TT stand too. Forget that flight claw grabbing, suit wrecking base, even though it looks pretty cool...
