Re: Hot Toys - Iron Man 3 - MARK XVII Heartbreaker Armor

ToysDaily forum has people giving the following information on pricing:
$1530, $800 deposit

I believe this should be in RMB (China currency) which will translate to around USD$250 or SGD$320....
This is about the price of their diecast figure without the diecast for HeartBreaker.

That really just sums up how HT is becoming more hungry for money.

$250 figure with no accessories and not diecast and didn't make a huge impact to the Iron Man 3 movie...
Now don't get me wrong I know there's tons of HB armor fans here but damn $250..??? C'mon hot toys, we're fans but don't take us for granted lol.

Re: Hot Toys - Iron Man 3 - MARK XVII Heartbreaker Armor

I don't see how he could move his torso, and yet HT says he can, can't wait to have this :love

250? 320?.. not a surprise, nothing will stop me from having this Heartbreaker but I wish to know why the cost of production is going up, I wanted it to be diescast, this guy better be as heavy as it looks

Absolutely amazing!!! So bought!

There is no mention of diecast in any of those pics of the MMS #. I guess its not diecast???

It is definitely not diecast Mike as it is listed as a normal MMS212.
Oh yeah but they r charging us for diecast figure price.... :thud:

Re: Hot Toys - Iron Man 3 - MARK XVII Heartbreaker Armor

Imagine Mark 17 HeartBreaker Armour can snap on to Tony Stark at will just like the Mark 42....that will be freaking awesome.
Also the HeartBreaker armour won't fall down that easily I guess compared to the Mark 42.

Yeahh...sad that they made HB into Rhodey's personal taxi instead

Anyways, can't wait for this figure! Looks the best IM figure so far imo! Even more so than the VI and VII.

Based on the Heartbreaker scenes, I think it is by far the strongest and most durable armor, I think it wouldve lasted longer than Shotgun against Killian

I agree too but the Mark VII is pretty sweet and let's hope this gets released soon....or maybe in a year's time then...

No he didn't.. :( I've heard Shane saying he cut a lot of the movie and hopefully there will be a longer version with more fight scenes, this armor was way too awesome just to be shown for a few seconds.

Well, my expectation on price for armors has risen. Mark VII was $250 a year ago. Of course it came with a ton of accessories. But still, I don't expect any armors to ever be below $250. I'm expection most will be closer to $300. And depending of if it dicast or huge like Igor, even more. So I guess I'm glad this is not diecast. It'll be less than what I was expecting.

No he didn't he only put silver centurion, shotgun, sneaky, nightclub, mark 42 and was about to jump into hot rod.

Love how this thing looks!

Re: Hot Toys - Iron Man 3 - MARK XVII Heartbreaker Armor

If Mark 42's small RT can destroy Savin's heart and killed him, imagine the how much damage Heartbreaker's huge RT could have causeD against Killian...would surely have "broken" his heart!!

Hahaha what a way to describe it. Sure looks like a safe bet for the "HeartBreaker" armour to live up to it's name :lol

For Tony only one way to describe...so many suits but so little time...:slap

Re: Hot Toys - Iron Man 3 - MARK XVII Heartbreaker Armor

Such a badass armor. Thank goodness there's no mention of diecast, so this figure can be somewhat affordable.
