I think if I ever do decide to get one of the remakes, this will be the one.

The detail is beautiful, truly fantastic. Even if the sculpt looks nothing like the Elder.

Gonna have to see what the Wolf remake will look like, and if they'll do a Chopper though.

I personally think this is Hot Toys' best Predator ever. (Assuming the final product looks like the proto). To me, this predator screams Elder and has a WOW factor that the others don't quite have due to all of his intricate details (namely his dreads/jewelry).

He's SUPPOSED to look like Classic as they share practically the same attributes. His mandibles look fine to me. They could be open slightly more but they did move slightly in the movie (closing up more in certain parts). And I'm pretty sure you could slightly mod them anyway with heat. I did with City Hunter.

I can't wait to have this beast. He's my grail figure as far as I'm concerned.

I hope Chopper comes out next though just so I can complete the AVP trio. Then they can focus on Wolf in 2015.

I wouldn't be surprised if they skipped Chopper altogether.

I'm hoping we see Wolf next. Aswell as accuracy on Wolf we need all the weapons and accessories to go with him too; two cannons and the cleaner kit are a must.

they wont skip chopper, that would just be cruel... I see the AVP Elder as more likely to be skipped

Trophy wall back drop would have been amazing! Hell I'd pay double the price if they went all out and included a 1/6th trophy wall. Wishful thinking but maybe one day

I started to make my own , i am yet to include the skulls from the predators i have but its never going to be a thing for sale.

I like this figure but he seems a bit expensive especially since he barely has accessories. I sort of wish Hot Toys would re-release the Predator original Predator again (or was the classic from Predators supposed to fill in for that version?).

The mandible seam can be seen in this photo so it looks like they did just glue the closed mandibles onto Classic's head and then sculpted the rest from there. This figure atleast deserved to be sculpted from scratch in that area especially.

I saw the NECA Elder at my local FYE and I wasn't impress. I'm not a hardcore collector but I have to admit the paint job looked too plastic(?) It didn't have the BAM factor, I was really looking forward on purchasing him but now I've preordered this Beast

Looks like they missed the mark on the eyebrows. They have it sculpted slanted making him look angry but in the movie he looks relatively calm and in control.

The biggest plus for me though is that they finally included the tri-laser! Thank god they didn't leave that out this time. Would be even cooler if it had light up LEDs but that's asking for too much.

i ended up buying every HT figure with "predator" word on the box except for old pack of AVP and Billy Sole, some of them twice, classic thrice (for classic, P1 and Boar)
some ******ing mental disorder about putting predators in every corner.

Without a doubt it does look better than the original. It's cool something i never noticed is he has purse made with a severed human hand.

Really excited for this guy. He looks great. I am just worried about how long it is taking Hot Toys to release the 1/4 scale predators. It will be 2 years soon since they announced it. We haven't even seen a preview of the ones they are working on. If they are even working on them at all and not postponing them to do every meaningless Iron man figure that was in Iron Man 3 for only 2 seconds.
