I think AvP:R might be better than Predators… I only think that because I don't actually know since AvP:R is so goddamn dark I can't actually tell what the **** is going on even during daylight scenes let alone anything in the dark.

I would rate AvP higher than Predators.

How anyone could think AvP:R is a better film than any of the other Predator/Alien films is beyond me though.

Clearly the worst of the franchise(s).

IMO Predators was 10x better, the predator working with the human in AVP was poorly created.In the comic it was alittle bit awful but better

Predators, personally, is better than both AvP's. Adrien Brody did a good job as a hardened Merc. I had my doubts at first but he pulled it off

If you like 80s horror movies AvP:R has a lot going for it… I want to like it but it's literally hard to watch. Like I said it's just so hard to make out what is going on on screen it's so underexposed.

Predators I find kinda unwatchable honestly. Especially once they meet up with Morpheus.

AvP I hated when I saw it but having watched it again I actually quite dig it. The design of the movie is hideous, the Predator designs in particular I think just look awful but the movie's plot itself is pretty engaging and entertaining.

Predators I stop caring about what's going on and get bored and stop watching.

I think if they threw in a full on predator battle like 300 , it would of made it classic.They made it for the non predator fan, we knew what was in the trees from the begin of the movie

The old Elder Pred has a lot of accuracy issues with the costume (gauntlets, feet, etc) and I definitely prefer the proportions of the new bodies.

Say what you want about P2 but the dross that has come from AVP and AVP:R should make everyone appreciate P2 more.

I enjoyed both AVP films and Predators but to me P2 was a great movie although I will admit I was initially underwhelmed when I first watched but that soon changed and now I think it is a great action movie.

There must have been a lot of people who saw P2 in a different light after the recent Predator based movies.

I'm loving the new version, but this guy is still my favorite figure in my collection. Even with all the issues people find with him I'm still in awe of his presence in my collection. He has been on display since day one. Others have been rotated he has not.

AVP > Predators

AVPR > Predators. Yes AVPR may be a bad film but I'm judging my opinion on what I would/have watched more. AVPR is like a guilty pleasure whereas Predators isn't fun to watch and I'd just rather watch the original.
