AVP > Predators

AVPR > Predators. Yes AVPR may be a bad film but I'm judging my opinion on what I would/have watched more. AVPR is like a guilty pleasure whereas Predators isn't fun to watch and I'd just rather watch the original.

I know, there's no logic too it really. Predators was on TV the other night, ended up watching something else instead. I'd usually watch anything Alien or Predator related if it was on.

If you want to watch a quality Predator VS humans film you'll watch P1 and P2. Predators was just more of the same and without being able to say it was the original and having no nostalgia factor as it was a new film. On the other hand the AvP films, with a so bad they're good quality, at least offered something that hadn't been done on film up to that point - Aliens and Preds fighting eachother. There's definitely logic there. Despite that I still can't bring myself to agree.

Rodriguez and Predators thought they were outdoing the original and ended up falling very short. Atleast the AVP's were something different. And the homages in AVPR were overdone (but you knew by that point it didn't matter because the film's so bad it was good), whereas Predators took itself too seriously and took a dump on the fans.
