Hot Toys MMS243 - 1/6th scale Captain America & Steve Rogers

This Cap has my favorite version of his suit so far. I couldn't pass him up despite the problems. Plus, a plain clothes Rogers was an awesome bonus.

I'm not that interested in a Civvies Rogers, nothing against the figure itself, but Stealth Cap is enough for me.

I think the Civvie Steve is actually the best of the two

The Civvies Steve is good looking figure, there no denying the Chris Evan likeness, i'm just not interested in that figure, I would prefer Cap in his uniform. Same the the Go Hero 'The Shadow' figure. The exclusive version came with an alternate Lamont Cranston head sculpt. I went with the standard version. When I display him, I would rather display him as The Shadow, not Lamont Cranston.

The Civvies Steve is good looking figure, there no denying the Chris Evan likeness, i'm just not interested in that figure, I would prefer Cap in his uniform. Same the the Go Hero 'The Shadow' figure. The exclusive version came with an alternate Lamont Cranston head sculpt. I went with the standard version. When I display him, I would rather display him as The Shadow, not Lamont Cranston.

Cool. I can respect that Its all about the heroes anyway "Hmmmm Do I get this Peter Parker figure or this Spiderman figure"(probably a bad example since I don't like spidey but whatever )

Speaking of Civvie Steve, I threw him into a couple of shots yesterday...

I actually found that I really like the Steve Rogers figure, more so than I thought I would. It's fun having pretty much no restrictions in his posing.

I need to watch the movie soon, I've been marathoning all of them before seeing AoU. I finally reached Winter Soldier, I just need to watch it now before Thursday. Plus, it'll give me inspiration for poses. I do think I know exactly what pose you are talking about though. Once I see it again, I'll try to replicate the exact thing.

You should grab Bucky, he makes a great companion piece to the Rogers figure imo..... Can't wait to see more pics

with an extra sculpt, you can always put together an extra figure, so you can have cranston and the shadow back to back in a display.

And I never tire of taking pictures. It's all cool. If you have any pose ideas (for any of my figures), I'd be more than happy to try to do it for you.

I was thinking of ordering Bucky, too. He's such a cool looking figure.

As for Dark World, I like it just fine. Is it the best, absolutely not, but I still enjoy it. I dislike IM2 more than DW.

I already know what's on it - every figure relating to AoU.

Add Vision and maybe Black Widow to my list (may wait until Civil War for her and IM). I'd like Hulk, but he has rubber arms which is an automatic no in my book. I like posing my figures way too much.

Great that you decided to get him , very interested to see what you come up with - lots of photo possibilites there with him and Cap.

Vision? Really looking forward to him and Black Widow too. That might be the smart play waiting on her, she might just get a new improved headsculpt for that movie, can't see them re-using the same head 3 times
