Opened this today. Spacetrooper outfitted in his space giddup with his big gun, pointing curiously into outer space. Very Star Wars.


Makes me feel kinda bad about the whole death star thing

I got mine last week, and he has a busted thruster/vent/doohickey. SSC offered me a $25 credit or a replacement. I opted for the latter. Hopefully the replacement is undamaged.

It is. They pull right off. The cone part is also made up of two parts. I destroyed the back plate getting the backpack off. They do not want that thing coming off. Period.

I didn't notice the little flip up thrusters either... I don't think it's mentioned in the instruction sheet, I'll need to check when I get home.

It's an incredible figure though, HT does not disappoint.

My Spacetrooper figure has FINALLY shipped... through the freaking FedEx. I'm curious how much the taxes will be. I freakin' hate FreakEx.

That's weird. Lately, all my figures (5 of them) shipped from HK and, technically, you live closer from China than i do. On the other hand, a fellow french collector also received his Spacetrooper from the US stock. I guess they sent too much over to the US warehouse and had to balance the stock a little

I was always "lucky" when ordering directly from Sideshow: damaged products, late FedEx delivery, extra taxes etc. That's why I "love" their exclusives (as well as EFX's or GG's).

Mine has exactly that problem. I am not planning to contact Sideshow. I figure I can just heat up that piece and push it back in.

Yep, this is going to be my "everything" Stormtrooper. I knew there was going to be some demolition going in, so I took the precaution of getting a backup chest piece online. Yeah, there was some damage getting the pack off, but nothing a little scratchbuilding won't fix (I'll post picks of the pack in the next update). I'll see when the new chest arrives which I'll stick with... Always good to have an option!
