It's sculpted hair. There'd be absolutely no benefit in making it with rooted hair. It might look as good but cost twice as much to do.

Exactly. These two are probably my most wanted SW figures I can't wait to see the full prototype

They'd only do it where it makes sense - Luke & Leia obviously MORE than merit their own releases, complete with character specific inclusions.

If they did the 'two pack' thing just to bundle them together for the sake of it in a bare bones kind of way, it'd piss me off to no end.

I *REALLY* want a farmboy Luke in my collection, so I'm praying nightly to the plastic gods that Hot Toys pull off one of their 1 in 50 miracles and get a really great head sculpt on this one.

This should be great. Going by the vader reveal luke helmet ex that came with the Bespin DX. Was miles better for lack of PERS.

Whoa! That is looking great from what you can see of the sculpt.

Can't be far off the specs and full reveal. Always been farmboy Luke for me.

I have a very good feeling about this. Time to upgrade the old Death Star diorama to be worthy of displaying these 2....(years from now anyway). Plenty of time. Is it May 4th yet?

Not sure what you have planned for upgrades, but that's a beautiful looking piece right now.
