That's the reason I didn't get Gordon. I didn't want the signal or Blake. I would definitely accept paying more for an accessory I didn't want (the signal). But to buy an expensive pack with both a figure and an accessory I didn't want made me gave up on it.

The way I see it, their "trick" kinda backfired.
"Cool, I want a Gordon, but not enough to buy him in his Swat gear".
"Nice, they have a new Gordon, just the way I want".
"Oh. I will have to pay more for a signal I didn't want? OK. It's a nice accessory, I might want to display it someday".
"What? A Blake figure too? That Gordon is getting to expensive, not that interested in it anymore".

I know I might be in the minority, but ...

You are right they would have had people who would have wanted the Gordon and signal without the Blake... It was the same for me with the Armory as I would have liked it with Bruce but while Alfred came out great I didn't feel the need for him... In the end I just picked it up sans other figures as I couldn't justify the spend.

Yes! This needs to happen! Great idea.

That would be a good way to get me to pick these up... though it would be a coin toss between the Robin display and the Batsuit!

No word other than rumours that he's dead in this universe. I suspect they're gonna save him for the batman solo flick

Although, did they tease or have the TDK armory at any cons before showing Bruce and Alfred? I can't remember if they did.

They had only shown the armoury from TDKR, never TDK

The recent face sculpts out of HT are just horrible
The 92 Bruce Wayne, The T-800 Guardian, Rye from Star Wars
They are just horrible, especially Bruce Wayne...not to mention the limited accessories, I mean com'on Hot Toys, you could do better than that!

Good point, another dilemma: Do we risk missing this one on the off-chance there's a diecast one down the line?

I'm doubting they make one. I honestly didn't even consider it until reading it here. I'm just guessing these don't sell nearly as well as Iron Man. Especially since this is a non-traditional Batman design.

I have this on PO, and I hope HT listens and adds a neutral faceplate for this, that looks as good as their 1/1 Armored and 1/6 Regular suit Batman. It's not funny when even Mezco and DCC's head on their 1/12 Armored Batman look better than HT.

I hope, I really, really hope HT was going off of some very early, very generic concept art and that this isn't its interpretation of Affleck in the armored suit.

Video from Budget Stark. He briefly mentions the plates, he says he's sure HT will revisit it.

I agree they should have released the batsignal with the armored batman as a dual pack but i dunno they probably want to get more money from selling it seperately. Still waiting for the batsignal and the batmobile to go up for preorder to be honest. I want those items just as much as the armoured batman and the wait is killing me...

Agreed. They probably see The Dark Knight bat-signal collectible sets as a failure and are trying to avoid repeating the same mistake by releasing a set people don't want to buy. They don't seem to understand or believe collectors actually want to buy this set.

I didnt want the set. It makes the figure more affordable and also depends on how much screen time will it have. Im very worried that too much hype for the batmobile and we will see it 1 minute scene when sups destroys it.

Lol. Trust me, WB is going to get the most out of that batmobile. You'll see it in BvS, maybe in SS, a solo Batfilm and who knows where else.

The Batmobile is likely in SS as it was spotted on set during a chase which unless its cut means it will appear... I am hoping they don't do a Marvel with these heroes and the costumes and Batmobile are largely unchanged between them

I'm not a fan of the Batsignal coming with Wayne, I don't like when the combo's don't make sense or are an obvious ploy to sell a less popular figure

They did that with TDKR by packaging the signal with Blake instead of Gordon, most people would have bought the set if it was just Gordon and the Signal (logical combo) and then bought the 3 pack with Blake if they wanted Blake
This way they forced collectors who wanted the signal to get Blake, and forced collectors who wanted Gordon, to get the threepack

The good feeling buy for the signal being any sort of combo would be to package it with the armoured Batman, the only figure we've seen with the signal...
I can't ever see Bruce Wayne standing next to the Batsignal...

I fell for that hook line and sinker and regretted it immediately as I didn't get the Gordon and realized I wanted him as much as the signal.

I am going to give the Bale signal a go with this and maybe think I about swapping the insignia with something handmade down the road.

Dead, huh? Well, my low expectations for this movie just got even lower. Cranston would be a scene-stealer - and would have made a great Luthor.
