Maybe you're reading too much into it, he could be simply stating fact that he is indeed NOT an assistant.

Exactly.

A dream job, for sure. Imagine being in the know of everything HT related and stuff. Must be cool hanging with those guys.

Anyway, a new thread has been created finally. It just called my attention (I'm not a Marvel collector, but I don't see how me not posting on Marvel threads has to do with anything... Is it a requirement to interact with other collectors?) that this release is almost identical to the non "BD" one.

If I had to choose between this "Regular Version" or the "Battling Version". I would choose the "Regular Version". Since that's not the case, I'll get both lol

I believe so, only AOU Cap has the magnetic shield.

No.

The magnetic shield wasn't a newly developed technology by HT that they were going to use as a technique for Cap's shields from there-on-out; it was merely to represent his shield in the AoU film.

my logic for ordering the BD version over this one was that I believe HS with swapping expressions will be cheaper in ebay than both a damaged shield and the diorama base

It should be painted correctly on the final version...however I have not seen the source images they have or if there are scenes where the helmet is differently painted. I don't know any specifics on that part of the helmet either way. I can see if I can get any info but I'm sure the response will be the standard "it will match the source" they usually give me when I ask about protos. But I'll ask why they are different..maybe that will get them to notice.

I do know the head used on the BD version is an actual master painted head and the one used on the standard images was not. That could be why.

It's cool some here are excited with this "battling" version...I'm also baffled that some here are actually excited with this..."battling" version. It's the AoU version...with a scratched up shield, and new display stand...they really couldn't include these with the civil war version? Like...really? I don't get it. I'm not seeing much wear and battle tear. And if any person says "sharp eye will see it" can go **** yourself...why? Because you don't need a sharp eye to see the "battle damage" isn't substantial enough to warrant a separate release. In fact, any blind person can see this is a quick cash grab.

The civil war version is right around the corner. It's got exchangeable mouth plates, (sarcasm) A NEWLY PAINTED HS THATS BEEN REHASHED 3, no, 4 TIMES, and a
Ready has the crossbones helmet.

Do yourselves a favor and DON'T pick this $#!+ up, be patient and wait for the superior version that's coming out REAL SOON. You want that scratched shield? That $#!+ will be parted out, copied, and sold for the cheap in the following months. If you REALLY want that display stand? Well...I don't know what else to tell you.
